Questionnaire for leisure and recreation

Scenario:

You are working on a government project to determine the leisure and recreational habits of residents in Muscat. As a part of this study, you are required to conduct a survey to achieve the following objectives:

1- To analyze the influence of demographic variables on leisure and recreational habits.

2- To identify the most popular leisure and recreation activities and participation patterns of residents in Muscat.

3- To identify any factors that prevent people from actively participating in or attending leisure and recreational services and activities.

4- To measure the level of satisfaction among residents in Muscat with leisure and recreational services and activities available.

Your Tasks:

1- Identify the target population for your survey, sampling techniques and data collection procedures. The sample size in minimum 30.

2- Design a questionnaire that is designed to achieve your research objectives. (minimum 30 questions for the questionnaire)

You must ensure the following:

The design, layout, wording, type, scaling and order of questions in the questionnaire form should be original and based on your individual creativity. The point to emphasize is that you as a researcher should be aware of all steps in the survey design, and should be systematic and thoughtful in the planning, execution, and reporting of the survey findings. The respondent’s right to confidentiality should always be respected, the respondents should be fully informed about the aim of the survey.
