Discussion 1: You’ve learned about the importance of rewarding teamwork and individuals. After reviewing the resources for this module answer the following:

  • How would you apply ongoing rewards for individual team members as well as a team?
  • Share a team reward system that you experienced as an employee, volunteer or student. Do you feel the reward was appropriate, increase your productivity, and/or made you feel appreciated? How?

Discussion 2: Considering the essential conditions for successful team performance that include the following:

  • Bring adequate knowledge and skill for the task.
  • Exert sufficient motivation and effort to accomplish the task at an acceptable level of performance.
  • Coordinate their activities and communication.

How would you ensure that team members would be properly chosen? Be specific.
