Refutation/the rebuttal argument:

At the end of Week 10, you’re going to be turning in the complete persuasive paper, Assign 5. Assign 5 is a revision of Assign 4 plus adding the rebuttal argument. What is a rebuttal argument? To put it in simple terms, it’s meeting the opposition. You’re taking a stand/making a claim in a persuasive paper. A rebuttal or refutation is where you address any opposition that some might have to your stand. If you think that there is any validity in the opposition, you concede a little, or if you think it does not have any merit, you completely refute it. Eventually, you finish your paper by emphasizing your original stand.
