The first assignment for your overall “semester assignment” is to select a topic that you would like to write on. Your topic should be related to some area of Criminal Justice. Once you have submitted your topic and answered the questions below about your topic I will either approve or reject your topic. One topic that I will not accept is anything concerning the death penalty.
Questions to Consider
For this assignment answer the following questions.
- What broad topic are you selecting for your semester assignment?
- What specific area within the broad topic do you plan to write on?
- Why do you think this area will be interesting?
- What is your research question?
