Prepare a typewritten report discussing the following topics IN DETAIL. Be specific, not vague.

SECTION A – Organization Information

Include type of organization, history/background, ownership, location of headquarters, factories, stores, annual dollar sales, attendance, etc.

SECTION B – Products Marketed

What type of goods/services are marketed? Describe in detail. If a team – who are the stars? What different types of merchandise do they sell? If an arena – how many seats, luxury boxes, etc.? If apparel – what styles, sizes?

SECTION C – Place – Channels of Distribution

Where and how do they distribute their products, e.g., where do they play their games? What media broadcast their games? What channels of distribution do they use? Do they have their own stores? Where?

SECTION D – Promotion – Marketing Communications

What forms of promotion do they use, e.g., what kind of giveaways? How often? What kind of contests? What media do they use? Be specific – what magazines, newspapers, TV shows, etc? Discuss and give examples of their public relations program. What charities are they involved with? What community activities do they participate in? Work with schools, other businesses, and/or local government.

SECTION E – Price

What is the price range of the products they sell? Give examples of prices, e.g., the lowest, highest, package plans. Give examples of prices for different kinds of merchandise.

SECTION F – SWOT Analysis

Write a marketing SWOT analysis on the elements of the marketing mix discussed in your report.

SECTION G – Bibliography

All papers MUST follow the sequence of sections as described above. All questions MUST be answered. Papers MUST be neat – minimum one grade will be deducted for sloppy papers.

ONE POINT will be deducted for each misspelled word. All papers MUST be in a binder or stapled. Papers must be a minimum of five typed pages not including the cover sheet and bibliography.
