PROJECT REPORT

This is an individual assessment. You may consult with other students, but each student will receive an individual grade for his or her work.

Two case studies will be provided to enable you to undertake a realistic requirements analysis leading to mapping of value and plans for quality assurance testing and change management.

Choose only one case study . You will be expected to assist with the planning of this project as a junior business analyst, in an advisory role. In your role in this project you will be expected to write a report in two parts, which will:

Identify     stakeholders

Conduct    a stakeholder    analysis, including      stakeholder objectives       and business    requirements

Produce    plans for   Quality Assurance      testing

Produce plans   for Change        Management. This     must include     outlining methods   of communicating     change to stakeholders through         automated and non-automated techniques

PART A
DELIVERABLES

Word limit :      800 words (+/- 10%)

PART B

Word limit :      2500 words (+/- 10%)

Report to include ( key issues ):

Conduct    stakeholder analysis   – objectives       and business     requirements

A      plan for     Quality Assurance      testing

A      plan for     Change management

Individual Project Work

Things need to be covered in the report:

Identification     of main issues/problems

Analysis    and evaluation of BA issues/problems

Recommendations     on effective solutions/strategies

Links to     unit readings and additional research

Writing     mechanics, referencing and formatting guidelines

While completing this assignment you must address also all other issues as stated–

Identifies   And demonstrates a highly sophisticated understanding of the main BA    issues/problems in the selected case study

Presents    an insightful and comprehensive analysis of all identified BA         issues/problems; successfully completes all necessary calculations.

Supports   diagnosis and opinions with exemplary arguments and well –         documented evidence; presents a balanced and critical view;         interpretation is extremely well – argued, cogent and objective.

Makes       insightful  and powerful connections between identified BA issues/         Problems and the strategic concepts in the unit readings and       lectures; supplements selected case study with highly relevant and    thoughtful research and documents all sources of information.

Demonstrates    clarity, conciseness and correctness; exhibits sophisticated writing      skills; formatting is appropriate, and writing is free of grammar    and spelling errors; Uses specified referencing style.
