In step 3, each group member will use their two key terms from Chapter 7 or Chapter 8, or one term from each chapter (I have chosen CONTROL and SELF-DISCLOSURE as my key terms) chosen back in Step 2 to look for and analyze in the sitcom episode (our group has chosen Jane the Virgin – season 1 episode 1, which has on Netflix).

  • You will begin this step by writing a paraphrased definition of the first term you chose in your own words, followed by a paragraph for that term explaining how you saw it demonstrated in the episode. Underline, CAPITALIZE or highlight the terminology used in your paragraph.
  • Then write a paraphrased definition of the second term you chose in your own words, followed by a paragraph for that term explaining how you saw it demonstrated in the episode. Underline, CAPITALIZE or highlight the terminology used in your paragraph.

(Write a long paragraph describing the scene where each of your terms is present. You should pan to write at least 7 or 8 college-level, grammatically correct sentences for each paragraph. You should underline the term you are analyzing within your paragraph)
