Sports Management M5-2
SBRN (it is now called “Sports Market Analytics) offers a lot of interesting statistical information related to teams, fans, media, and markets. You can find some good articles on sports business, too.
1) Browse through articles or statistical information (e.g., NBA television viewership) and choose one (either an article or statistical info) that is most closely related to your M4 sponsorship proposal(USE FOOTBALL, ATTACHED BELOW). For instance, if you developed a sponsorship proposal for a minor league baseball team, you may want to locate statistical information related to MLB such as minor league baseball attendance or social media uses among minor league baseball fans.
2) Introduce and discuss the article or the chosen statistical information. Then explain how you might be able to use the newly obtained information to improve your sponsorship proposal (e.g., add minor league baseball attendance info or fan profile info to improve the discussion of target market fit in the proposal / use social media info to improve the discussion of PR/Publicity in the proposal)
*I believe you can find some relevant info worthy of inclusion in your proposal.
(IF YOU FAIL TO GET ACCESS TO THE ABOVE-MENTIONED DATABASE FOR SOME REASON, YOU MAY LOCATE AN ARTICLE OR STAT INFO FROM OTHER SOURCES). For example,
