to write a conclusion for a short essay about why college student do not get a stimulus check

Topic- College Student Stimulus Check

Intro-

When looking at the recent economic changes and issues following the COVID-19 pandemic, one is able to see that many adults are out of jobs, whether temporary or permanent and many of these individuals are unable to pay rent, afford groceries, and many other necessary tasks needed to be able to survive. This is why the government chose to send out stimulus checks, to assist Americans in their necessary tasks to keep their homes, keep their kitchens stocked, and to keep them stable. The government made the choice that anyone who is under 17 and is a dependent can have the individual who is claiming said dependent receive a $500 stimulus check for them, where if you are an independent filer or you are the head of household, you will receive a $1200 stimulus check. This sectioning actually leaves a large portion of adults without a stimulus check, and are often the individuals that need it. College students, who are usually over 17 but still being claimed by their parents, are unable to receive any money, nor can those who claim said college student. This means that college students, who many lost their jobs since those are on campus or work in the food/retail industry that greatly cut down on their staff, are unable to support their rent and bills because college students are receiving no help from the government. With these students living paycheck to paycheck, college students should be eligible for the stimulus check.
