For this
assignment please generate a comparison between the 2015 and the 2016
State of the Union addresses by President Obama. Prepare a 1 page write
up outlining the high level differences (or similarities) between the
two speeches. Did the tone of address change (more or less positive),
did the sentence structure change (# words per sentence, grade level of
language used, action verbs to passive verbs, etc).

I am
interested in your actual analysis of the difference between the two
speeches and how you apply your own critical thinking skills the the
assignment. While the NLTK package is an obvious choice for doing this
type of analysis you are free to choose another tool if you so choose.
You must submit not only the 1 page write up but also the code your
wrote to generate the output used in your analysis. For example, you
could use NLTK to generate the raw output and then use R to create
graphs and conduct your analysis. Alternatively you could use RStudio
and text mining libraries to do the same basic work, I leave the choice
up to you.
