Your initial post should describe your experiences in the course this past week, prompting further discussion. You should address at least two of the following questions:
- What struck you in particular as you explored the course materials this week? Was there anything that you wanted to discuss that was not covered in Discussion 1?
- What insights have you had?
- What have you been having difficulty with?
- What questions have come up for you at this point?
- Do you have any helpful tips that you’ve picked up in this course or in a past course?
- Do you have questions about the assignment that your classmates might be able to help with? (If you have a question for the instructor, be sure to contact your instructor through email or in the Ask Your Instructor Forum).

What insights have you had?
I have noticed that a lot of things are the same from back then to now dealing with women. In the 1800th and 1900th women were not allowed to pick there occupation, they were restricted to certain ones. Women were also forced to do things with men and taken advantage in so many ways. The world today women are taken advantage of their rights and not seeing the things the women went through in the past to make us have a voice and provide for our family. Education is very important and back then we had to earn the right to even be able to learn. Our kids wouldn’t have the resources they receive today if it wasn’t for the Amendment passed in the 1900th.

What struck you in particular as you explored the course materials this week? Was there anything that you wanted to discuss that was not covered in Discussion 1?
Based on discussion 1 I knew I wanted to find a source that I knew little to nothing about but would support my final assignment.
What insights have you had?
I found just what I was looking for. The information I found I knew nothing about so it was an informative experience. I also figured out how to imbed videos within my discussions.
At the moment I have no concerning issues or concerns with the current course work.
