Thank you so much for helping me with my discussion board about REI company. Now I need to reply some one else. This could be maybe one paragraph. I will attach the work you did for me just in case you need it as a reference cause I understand I’m not the only one you help. Here is the discussion for the other student.

It
seems to me that REI is using the Vertical integration strategy. This
company sells all products and gear needed for an adventure outdoors,
but going beyond just selling they also offer equipment to rent! This is
really focusing not only making it easier and more cost friendly for
the every day typical person who cant afford to purchase the entire
family new camping gear. Although this company doesn’t use the
concentration on a single industry per say because they do not take
there profits and invest it back into there company. However i think it
is so positive that they invest over 70 percent of there profits back
into the outdoor communities. I feel they really set a different
standard by also including there employees in the profits either by
profit sharing or retirement.
Some of the stewardship efforts that this company offers are used
gear and rentals, rewilding, and extending sizes. Not only does this
company make it easier for you to take your adventure outdoors but it
also cuts the costs in half for you buy offering rental equipment. Also
it is no surprise that most Americans need extended sizes to be offered
in stores and this company is making it possible for those people to go
out of there comfort zone and explore the outdoors. REI also sees the
bigger picture, not only in house with giving back to there employees
but also investing more than half a million dollars to transform areas
throughout the country.
The attention to detail i feel separates this company from other
outdoor corporations. This company makes sure that the public also knows
that they not only have a true interest in the outdoors but they have a
concern and care for it as well. Bass Bro shops and outdoor world
absolutely have the equipment that you will need for your adventure but
it also comes with a cost and you definitely can’t rent there equipment.
