HERE IS A SUMMARY OF THE COURSE: Management Information Systems (MIS) have been developing and changing nearly as quickly as technology changes. And while there are many areas of IS management that overlap with traditional management concepts, there are a number of terms and concepts that are unique to MIS.
In Week 1, we will discuss the management of the digital organization, including collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment customized for companies, customers, and suppliers. We will also discuss IS operations in an organization and the role of strategy in the management of IS.
In Week 2, we will discuss how e-business and e-commerce have created sweeping changes in the digital integration of enterprises and ethical and social issues.
In Week 3, we will discuss hardware and software used in the digital enterprise, the management of data resources by designing customized databases based on entity-relationship diagrams, and telecommunications and wireless networks.

Older adulthood is an identity that carries significant stigma, and individuals become increasingly closer to assuming this stigmatized identity as they age. When people become older adults, they could view themselves as becoming part of a group to which they have held negative attitudes toward their whole life (Chopik, Bremner, Johnson & Giasson ,2018). I have seen myself doing the same thing, identify myself as old and try to act like it as the society defines it. However, I really think aging is how we perceive it to be.
I have my parents for instance, going on 78 and 88 years of age, I find them aging gracefully, embracing their age transitiord with their life. It always amazes my friends and other family members to see how active my elderly parents are. My mom loves to cook ,therefore cooking everyday keep her going. My dad on the other hand who survived stroke twice, that left him with hearing deficit is continuously striving to stay active, he is on top of his health-related decision, checking his blood pressure every day, he is always reading ,nurturing his mind. Overall, my parents make me believe that age is just a number, someone could be of old age but still be young at heart. Becoming elderly I believe is when one is no longer able to function physically and cognitively while aging . Older people are wise people to be around with all the life experiences they have to share.

Learning how to manage personal lifestyle choices is known as the self-help approach. This approach assumes that individuals can control some aspects of the environment that contributes to harming health. This week, you have learned about the seven dimensions of wellness and how there must be balance between these dimensions in order to achieve overall health and wellness. During this course, you will develop a YouTube video journal by completing short video journals each week.
To begin, assess your personal wellness by completing the Assessment Activity 1-1: Lifestyle Assessment Inventory on page 27 of your course textbook. Write out your results and answers from these questions so it is easier to reference them within your journal (space to write your answers is included within the assessment). Additionally, it is recommended that you prepare your comments for your video journal before recording it.
In your video journal, examine the effects of certain lifestyle factors on your wellness and think critically about your overall wellness by addressing the following comments and questions below: Describe the seven dimensions of wellness listed in the text.
