Consolidation Decisions

Describe a variable interest entity, a primary beneficiary, and the factors used to decide when a variable interest entity is subject to consolidation

• Locate two resources about a scientific topic that interests you: one from a scientifically reputable resource and another from a questionable resource.
• Write a brief summary of these two articles and an explanation of the differences between the reliability of these resources.
• What characteristics make one more scientifically valid than the other? Be sure to indicate which resource is the scientifically reputable resource and which resource’s reliability is questionable. Present both of your resources in APA format.

Hi Henry I did my targeting population of Kalia 15 year old African American Transgender. (Kalia is a 15 year old African American transgender male to female person, entered into counseling involuntarily by her parents. She reported that her mother is over-reacting dressing in girls clothes is normal because Kalia stated she identifies herself as a girl trapped in a boys body. Kalia admitted that she was attacked and beaten from a blind date once he became aware of her sexual identity. Talking with the parents the father seemed withdrawn in a denial state of mind. However, Kalia mother became extremely anxious when she began to talk about her son’s cross-gendered behaviors.

Promoting Wellness and Resilience

For your second assignment, you will research and recommend prevention and education activities for your target population that are designed to promote individual, cultural, and community wellness and resilience. This 3-4 page paper should:

• Describe the wellness and resiliency model used by mental health counselors that will promote wellness and community resilience over the life span for individual, couples, and families in your target population.
• Recommend intervention activities designed to promote resilience and wellness as desired counseling goals for clients in your target population.
• Propose appropriate prevention and education activities appropriate to your target population that promote optimum human development, wellness, and mental health.
• Identify effective strategies to promote client understanding of and access to a variety of community resources.
• Reference materials from your studies and additional academic peer-reviewed research from the Capella Library to support your work.
