You have considered the various elements of the research project. Compile all of the sections of your research strategy ideas from previous writing (attached). Retrieve your survey/questionnaire results this week to complete your final project.

The following sections (500 words or 1-2 slides total) should be added to your research project analysis:

• Your approach to finding a topic
• Your research questions
• Your ethical considerations
• Your data analysis summary
• Your measurement strategy

Add a section of 300–500 words or 1-2 slides about how you interpreted the data from your survey or questionnaire in Week 3. Add this section at the end of your research project.

Part two:

Complete your final research proposal paper or PowerPoint. The required sections include the following:

• The business and organizational problem or topic
• The problem statement
• The research strategy that you used to explore the problem
• 1 research question
• Your rationale for selecting your proposed research strategy
• A copy of the questionnaire or survey
• A section on ethical considerations for your project
• Your data analysis summary based on your questionnaire/survey
• Your measurement strategy
• The research results

Case 13-2: Designing an Incident Response Strategy

This assignment does not match up with a known case in the textbook. Please reflect on your own experience, your research and any material from Chapter 13 that can help you complete this assignment.

1. A list of people who should be considered for membership in the SIRT(Security Incident Response Team), including a brief rationalization for each potential member. This list shouldn’t be a list of names; instead, it should be a list of positions internal and external to the company. It must include at least one IT member, a representative from upper management, a public relations/employee liaison, and a representative of regular employees.

2. The agenda should include provisions for selecting a team leader, specify which responsibility roles must be assigned, state how the workload must be divided, and include a point about ongoing maintenance and testing. Other topics students can include: updating, security awareness programs, on-call assignments, responsibilities and escalation procedures for regular business hours and off hours, and regular team meetings. The risk analysis cycle, updating the security policy and response procedures, and local law enforcement notification could also be important points. Students can include other items; assess them based on relevance to the design and structure.

3. The checklist should include spaces for team member name, responsibilities, contact information, and escalation procedure (brief).
