i need help with history

Please choose a residential structure you have been in and are familiar with. For example, your childhood home or Rolla in Missouri apartment, fraternity or sorority, residence hall, hotel, relative’s house, vacation home, etc. Research the history of the building including the designer/architect (if known), when it was built, and any historical significance of the building. Secondly, tell me what you consider the architecture of that structure shows about it, its intended use, its designers and builders, and the time period it was built. What did the designers of the structure want to convey? Were they successful?

Make sure you answer the following questions:

  • Where is it?
  • What is it?
  • When was it built (& modified)?
  • What “style or styles” is it?
  • Who designed it, built it and who lived there?
  • Why was it built? Has this reason changed over time?
  • How has the structure changed over time?
  • What does the structure tell us about the builders, residents, and society; both when it was built and how this changed over time?

This is not strictly a research paper. I want your informed view of the structure and not simply data about it. What do you think? What is your analysis of the building? Make sure to back up your judgments with evidence. Photos, plans, etc. are encouraged but not mandatory.

The paper should be about 1250 words. A title page is not required but please put your name, the date, and the course and section (Hist 4550 A or B) at the top of your paper. If you use outside sources, please cite them by whatever system you are most comfortable with; APA, MLA, Turabian/Chicago, etc. History majors must use Turabian/Chicago.

Helpful hints:

Make sure your paper is well constructed and free of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.

Introductions and conclusions are important. Use them properly.

Applying the Stages of Constructive Conflict Management

In Chapter 1 of the text, Managing Conflict Through Communication,

the five stages in a constructive conflict process are explained. Write

a paper in which you identify a conflict that you or someone you know

has had and has already been resolved. Identify and describe the five

stages of a constructive conflict process. Then, apply each of the five

stages of a constructive conflict process to your example. Your paper

should clearly identify each stage and provide details or examples for

each stage. You can review Examples 1 and 2 on pages 15-16 of the text

for ideas on how to organize this assignment.

The paper must be one to two pages in length (excluding title and

reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must use at

least two scholarly resources (at least one of which can be found in the

Ashford Online Library) other than the textbook to support your claims

and sub claims. Cite your resources in text and on the reference page.

Rough Draft Qualitative Research Critique and Ethical Considerations Diabetes and Excercise

Use the practice problem and a qualitative, peer-reviewed research article you identified in the Topic 1 assignment to complete this assignment.

In a 1000-1,250 word essay, summarize the study, explain the ways in which the findings might be used in nursing practice, and address ethical considerations associated with the conduct of the study.

Refer to the resource “Research Critique Guidelines” for suggested headings and content for your paper.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Remember that the goals of qualitative research are to describe, explain, predict and control and that the sampling is generally small. Please review the rubric for this assignment. Also please be sure that your article states it is a qualitative research report. Look for the word qualitative in the title or abstract. Do not use the article if you do not see the word Qualitative unless you send it to me for review. I cannot grade an assignment that is quantitative or mixed research. Also it cannot be a review of research but must be a primary report. If the article says that previous research was used to write the research this is a literature review and cannot be used. If you are unsure of an article please send me the article to review.
