British literature, Response 1 student discussion, 100 words

Please write a response for one student discussion. 100 words.

Student A:

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,

When you are old, your hair is gray and you are sleepy

And nodding by the fire, take down this book,

And nodding off by the fire, open this book

And slowly read, and dream of the soft look

And slowly read and dream about how beautiful

And read and imagine how soft

And imagine how soft your

Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

Eyes used to be and how they show regret

How many loved your moments of glad grace,

You will remember how many men loved you only because of beauty

And loved your beauty with love false or true,

And some truly loved you and others did not

But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,

But then you will remember that one man loved your soul

And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And loved the sadness of your aging face

And bending down beside the glowing bars,

And bending down beside the glowing fire grate,

Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled

You will murmur sadly how love has left

And paced upon the mountains overhead

And has gone off into the mountains far away

And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

And has hid amount the stars.

The line “But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you” really jumped out to me in When You Are Old. The phrase “pilgrim soul” symbolized how the man loved the women even with her changes over time. Another thing that stood out to me in this poem was the rhyme scheme structure. William Butler Yeats used an ABBA rhyme scheme in the first stanza in which the first line rhymed with the 4th and the 2nd and 3rd rhymed with each other. This rhyme scheme played out through the entire poem and I believe it made the poem flow very well. The last thing that stood out to be was how I was able to picture the women sitting by the fire reading the book. I could picture her regretting not making the relationship work with the one man who truly cared about her and did not love her only for her beauty. I can picture her sitting there sad with regret as she is lonely and old with nobody to love. I believe that anyone can relate to this poem that has ever been in a relationship that has not worked out because your significant other ended it. I feel like many times when people get broken up with that they secretly always like to see their significant others next relationship not work out. In this poem the man is heartbroken and he wants her to know that she left the one man that truly loved her for her. There are a lot of emotions in this poem that allow you to connect with it from past relationships that I have experienced.

Have you ever regretted ending a relationship with someone and later realized what you missed out on (or been in the opposite position where you were left and they missed out)?

Create an annotated bib

This week, you will create an annotated bibliography for research articles pertaining to your topic for the Signature Assignment:

sexual addiction amongst military members

Note: The material in your Annotated Bibliography must be written after a careful reading of the article itself, and not just the abstract. Furthermore, the Annotated Bibliography follows the same Academic Integrity regulations as other documents to ensure that you carefully paraphrase, or, if you need to, use quotes. The second most frequent Academic Integrity violations are given for poorly prepared annotated bibliographies.

Select five different articles related to your research topic for the Signature Assignment.
1.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4291826/

2.https://www.researchgate.net/publication/309034276_Examining_Compulsive_Sexual_Behavior_and_Psychopathology_Among_a_Sample_of_Postdeployment_US_Male_and_Female_Military_Veterans

3.https://digitalscholarship.unlv.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1366&context=psychology_fac_articles

4. https://www.research.va.gov/currents/0617-study_yields_insight_on_sexual_disorder.cfm

Or whatever you can find

Then, write an annotated bibliography of the articles you select. Your annotation should be brief and provide the following:

  • A brief description of the articles
  • The pros and cons (in your view) of the articles
  • Your personal reaction to the articles

Support your assignment with at least five scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Value Based Purchasing- Healthcare

Value-Based Purchasing The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (C.M.S.) began phasing in its value-based purchasing program in 2007.  Value based purchasing links payment directly to the quality of care provided. It is one strategy being used by C.M.S. to transform the current payment system by rewarding providers for delivering high quality, efficient clinical care.

There are three aspects to the program: patient experience, hospital-acquired conditions and achievement of expected treatment for specific clinical diagnoses.

2. Explain the legal implications related to a patient developing the condition and the role that disclosure plays.

3. Describe accreditation expectations related to this condition.

4. Analyze the outcomes of continuous quality monitoring consider cost as it relates to quality.
The following questions and/or topics should be utilized in the development of your Final Paper:

1. What role does communication between the healthcare team and the patient/family play in preventing this condition?

2. Why might a healthcare provider be reluctant to discuss the development of this condition with the patient and family?

3. What are the potential ramifications of not discussing the development of this condition with the patient and family?

4. How might members of the healthcare team present this information to the patient and family?

5. What, if any, is the link between disclosure and litigation?Accreditation expectations:

1. The Joint Commission accredits 82% of the hospitals in the United States. (Sollecito & Johnson, 2013, p. 516).

2. What expectations does the Joint Commission have with regards to the condition you selected?

3. How is it assessed by surveyors during an accreditation survey?
Outcomes related to cost and quality:

1. What continuous quality improvement strategies might you use to involve members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing improvements related to this issue?

2. Provide examples for each of the following performance improvement levels: localized improvement, organizational learning, process reengineering, and evidence-based medicine. (Refer to page 5 in your text if needed.)

3. What role does education, research, collaboration, information technology, leadership, and teamwork play in addressing this issue?
