Please assist with completing a Business Report

Good evening. Using only the SEC 10K for Northrop Grumman attached, please assist with a one to two page business report. One to two full in pages in length: single spaced; 12 pt. font. One Inch margins.

If you create any small charts they will count for page space. Tell the story of Northrop Grumman in the parameters described below. Consider this as a starting point:

  • What products does your company make and sell?
  • Do they manufacture their products or purchase from others?
  • Are sales increasing or decreasing? How does this relate to changes in inventory and accounts receivable?

What issues might your company experience related to risk? Search the PDF version of the SEC 10-K for Northrop Grumman for the word risk.

Consider the costs on the income statement. What are the line items? Consider how these relate to the operations of the company. Are they increasing with sales or other changes?

You might also consider the concept of competitive advantage as the company balances the disclosure of required financial information for compliance with good business practices.

Reading the SEC 10-K might reveal other companies and brands your company controls, locations where they operate, and other big picture business perspectives.

Week 5 -Final Project

Mini Equity Research Report [WLO: 4] [CLOs: 1, 2, 3, 4]

Many investment banks employ analysts to write equity research reports on public companies to advise their clients on their stock investments. In many cases, an initial equity research report is 20 to 50 pages long! For this class, you will focus on only three of the many important sections typically included in an equity research report. Thankfully, your Mini Equity Research Report will be much shorter than those published by investment banks!

In Week 1, you chose a publicly traded company to use throughout this class for the Mini Equity Research Report. In the first section of the Mini Equity Research Report, you evaluate the historical financial performance of the company (Week 1). In the second section of the Mini Equity Research Report, you evaluate the company’s performance using common financial ratios, and you compare the company to the competitor’s performance with the same financial ratios (Week 2). Finally, in Sections 3 and 4 of the report, you develop a value for the company’s stock and compare your value to the current market price of the stock (Weeks 3 and 4). Based on the analysis you present in these four sections, you will develop your recommendation to buy, hold, or sell the stock of this company.

It is very rare for one company to have only positive facts. Most companies have some good facts and some weak facts. In Sections 1 and 2 of the Mini Equity Research Report, you will analyze a variety of financial data for your selected company. As the equity analyst, it is your responsibility to combine the positive and negative facts into one recommendation (buy, hold, or sell). It is important to consider the importance of each fact and acknowledge that there is no perfect answer. Your recommendation should be based on the strength of the positive facts while recognizing the risks from the negative facts.

This week, you will write the introduction (including your stock recommendation) and the conclusion of the Mini Equity Research Report. In addition, you will revise the four sections from the first four weeks of class and combine them into this Mini Equity Research Report. Finally, you will submit your final Appendices A, B, C, and D with the Mini Equity Research Report.

Organizational Structure and Culture SLP

For the SLP 4 assignment, you will explore some aspects of an organization’s culture, at least as you see it. (Select an organization you have worked with, if possible.) Since the concept of organizational culture is open to many interpretations and classifications, this assessment offers a slightly different approach from your background reading on organizational culture.

Required Reading

Debra Woog McGinty and Nicole C. Moss have compiled a short corporate culture survey aimed at identifying characteristics of workplaces. The categories of workplace description that it generates are fairly self-explanatory.

Assignment

When you have completed the assessment think about it for a minute, and how it compares to the Academy, Baseball Team, Fortress, and Club cultures described by McNamara in the Background reading. Then prepare a 2- to 3-page paper addressing:

  • Your scores on the McGinty/Moss assessment and whether or not they fit your general expectations or constitute a surprise in some ways. Interpret the results of the assessment in terms of your own experience, either to confirm or to question the results. Compare your findings with the McNamara categories.
  • The degree to which the McGinty/Moss assessment and the McNamara information tell you similar or dissimilar things about your organization.
  • Do the assessment and the McNamara categories help improve your managerial understanding and/or skills? What can you infer from the assessment results about how your organization’s culture fits or doesn’t fit with you? What (if anything) can you do to make your interaction with the culture more effective?
  • Provide your opinion on whether or not the questions asked help you understand the organization and how you cope with it. Do they accurately assess what is needed to analyze a company’s culture?
  • Include the actual results to the survey in an Appendix section in your paper.

MHR 6451 19-6A21-S1 Human Resource Management Methods

This presentation should simulate an actual presentation that will be delivered to the managers. You must utilize the slide notes function in PowerPoint to add speaker notes to each slide; these notes should be used in order to explain or expand on slide content as if you were actually presenting this to your audience. Alternatively, you may add audio to the slides, but if you do so, you will need to provide a transcript of your audio in a separate Word document and upload it in Blackboard in addition to the PowerPoint file.

Include (at a minimum) the points below in your training delivery.

  • Include an overview of the training.
  • In conducting a needs analysis, what are the steps?
  • What is the content of the training?
  • How are trainer(s) selected?
  • Identify two organizational objectives.
  • Identify two training objectives.
  • Identify who is the target audience for the training. What are their learning styles?
  • Evaluate training models. Which one would you select, and why?
  • Compare and contrast different training methods.
  • Connect the training methods to learning styles.
  • How will the effectiveness of the training be evaluated, and why is evaluation critical?
  • How should managers ensure transfer of training?

At the end of the PowerPoint presentation, you must have one slide with five evaluation questions to determine the effectiveness of your training.

Your PowerPoint presentation must be a minimum of 15 slides in length, not counting the title or reference slides. As aforementioned, you must add slide notes or audio to the slides.

You must use at least four sources to support your presentation, one of which must come from the CSU Online Library. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment.

Compare their state standards and their curriculum planning ideas to your own, ece311 week 4 discussion help

Respond to a classmate who lives in a different state than you do. Compare their state standards and their curriculum planning ideas to your own (California).

There are many standards in Ohio but I have chose to talk about the specific one ” Topic: Knowledge of Health Concepts and Behaviors: Body Awareness Standard Statements: Identify and describe the function of body parts.” (ODJFS, 2017). There are so many activities you can do to help teach your children their body parts and what they are used for. One of my favorite activities to do body parts I just learned when my daughter started preschool and it is called mat man. If you haven’t heard of it you can find it at. . .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ec7J57YewxQ (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. The kids love this my daughter heard it playing so I could find the link and she ran in the computer room to be able to do it with the song. Not only does the song name the body parts it says what they are for as well. For example, Mat man has two eyes so that he can see.

Another activity you could do with the children is playing Simon says body parts when we play this we do the normal Simon says touch you heart and after they tough their heart we say your heart pumps blood throughout your body. Through out the year the children start picking up what the body parts do and they say what they do after we call them out. With the younger children it takes them a little longer to learn what they parts do but they pick up what their body parts are as they play.

A final activity that I have did wit my children to learn body parts I am not sure if I made up or got it from somewhere but it also names the body part and you move it for what it does. So the words would go chomp, chomp, chomp your mouth to help chew your food chomp, chomp, chomp, your mouth chew up all the food. When you first start the song they would point to the body part then do the action. I like closer to the end of the year to try and confuse them and switch body parts with the action and they think it is so funny and try to do it. Such as, Clap, clap, clap your feet clap them really loud clap, clap, clap your feet clap them really loud. It takes a simple rhyme they have done a million times new and fun again.

State of Florida v. Casey Marie Anthony

State of Florida v. Casey Marie Anthony

In October 2008, Casey Anthony was arrested and charged with the disappearance and murder of her two year old daughter, Caylee. She was originally charged with giving false statements, child neglect, and obstruction of a criminal investigation – this was later expanded to include first degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child, and four counts of providing false information to police. In December 2008, Caylee’s skeletal remains were discovered.

After a long contentious trial, on July 5 2011, the jury found Anthony not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter, and aggravated child abuse, and guilty on four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer. Jurors cited lack of evidence directly linking Anthony to the murder.

On July 7, 2011 Anthony was sentenced to one year in jail and $1,000 in fines for each of the four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer, with the sentences to be served consecutively. Anthony received three years credit for time served plus additional credit for good behavior, resulting in her release date being set for July 13, 2011.

Questions: Emotions aside, do you believe the prosecution overcharged the case? Why or why not? Was there enough evidence to convict Anthony as she was charged? Why or why not? What are you thoughts on the evidence presented by the defense?

Please conduct research to support your stances and cite your sources in Bluebook or APA format at the end of your posting.

How to make decisions in a cultural industrial?

Cultural differences can have a significant impact on business operations and cause harm when not properly managed. Mergers and acquisitions can create challenges due to cultural expectations on a national and organizational level. Often, managers are expected to integrate their current focus into a larger project without understanding how to do so in a larger context. Communication and coaching are key concepts in ensuring a smooth transition.

As the HR manager of Banks Industries, one of the issues you face with regard to the company’s acquisition of a Chinese firm is presented in the following scenario:

The operations manager from Banks in Centervale is used to having complete autonomy. However, on this project, he will have to work directly with the locally based manager in China and share decision making. The lead manager says that he wants to have the final say on all decisions as he knows how to align the project with the corporate strategies and objectives, something he has been doing for the past 30 years. The local manager mistrusts the corporate manager because he has been very vocal about not wanting to co-manage on the project.

Review the scenario and your readings and address the following:

  • Suggest strategies or solutions to neutralize the situation so the project can move forward.
  • Develop a communication plan to coach both managers on how to work together to accomplish the organization’s goals.

Be sure your response is 3 – 4 paragraphs. and apply APA standards to citation of sources.
