    • Implications of misconduct
    • Recommended course of action for the officer

Please answer the following 4 questions. (International business)

This week, we will examine international strategies companies can adopt to market goods and services in foreign countries. This includes tools to help with selecting locations, and how resources are allocated. For this discussion, answer the following:

  1. What are some of the factors influencing allocation of resources?
  2. Compare two of those factors you identified.
  3. Should consideration be given to locations that pose political or other risk?
  4. When should dispersed or concentrated configurations be adopted?

In addressing the questions regarding the effectiveness of strategies and tools used, you should examine the value chain configuration (i.e., what to do and where). Additionally, in order to provide a comprehensive response, it is necessary to identify location advantages by assessing factors of production and analyzing risks to include political, natural disaster, and others.

Your responses to others should take a position of support or dissent, with an explanation of the reasons for that approach.

EDU 650 W6 Teaching Learning and Leading in the 21st Century D2, writing homework help

Watch the Ted Talk, Play, Passion, Purpose: Tony Wagner @ TEDxNYED.

In his Ted Talk, Tony Wagner shares that our schools are not failing and do not need reforming. Rather, he shares, our system is obsolete and needs reinventing. Given the idea that we need to prepare our students for a future in which there are many uncertainties, including which jobs will be of importance or even in existence, is the way in which teachers are gaining leadership opportunities contrary to this thinking? If the research shows that students need to think in new ways, do you think schools foster those skills in the way teachers are expected to operate? Are there changes you would suggest?

Hate Group

Hate Group

What criteria should be present in order for a group to be considered a “hate” group or a terrorist organization? Is it proper to label a group as a “hate” group simply because its members advocate a political opinion? What if the group does not itself engage in violence but supports another that does through fund-raising or recruiting?

In your classroom reading this week, you learned that the FBI considers the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) to be a domestic terror organization. Do you agree with this assessment? Why or why not? In order to discuss this question, you will need to research the ALF’s activities as well as the FBI’s position.

Recent years have seen a rise in domestic terror incidents. Fortunately, many of them have been interrupted before any damage was done, such as the attempted bombing in New York’s Times Square. These incidents have brought attention to the difficulty of identifying potential individual terrorists. Most recently, a group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has been recruiting individuals from western countries, including the United States, to join their fight. Officials are concerned that in addition to recruiting people to travel to the Middle East to join their fight, ISIS might be persuading Americans to commit acts of terror at home.

For this final part of the week’s discussion, examine the methods that ISIS uses to gain new recruits. Are any particular people more vulnerable to being recruited? Why do people living comfortable, safe lives in America and other western countries volunteer to give up those comforts in order to travel to Syria to fight for this group? What can be done to prevent the ISIS and other radical groups from recruiting new members?

Differentiate the Major Regulatory Restrictions on NP Practice

Differentiate the Major Regulatory Restrictions on NP Practice

Purpose

NPs have scopes of practice that are regulated by state laws, boards of nursing, boards of medicine and reimbursement that may differ depending on your location. There are several sources of restrictions to NP practice such as state laws and federal regulations which include who may prescribe controlled substances and which substances NPs can prescribe, as well as the various reimbursement agencies. It is essential that the NP be fully informed of what they are allowed to do by law (state and federal) or by other regulatory organizations. These regulations vary widely from state to state. Consequences of practicing outside your scope of practice may be anything from a fine, suspension or revocation of your license, civil lawsuit, or even criminal charges.

Directions

Use the provided template to compare and contrast the three major regulatory practice models for NPs: Supervisory, Collaborative, and Independent. Please keep this assignment in the template format provided. This Assignment requires credible and up to date resources for each category. Include in each model at least one state that represents the scope of practice you are discussing. For example, Florida requires a supervisory relationship with a physician along with a practice agreement, formulary, and protocols. In order to apply and receive a DEA license to prescribe controlled substances, you must be approved by the state you are practicing in to prescribe these medications.

In addition, you will also learn about the importance of question development when creating a survey. For this Qualtrics Survey project, we are going to learn more about two (2) different concepts: music and stress. In this survey we will be asking two sets of questions on people’s perceptions of music and their self-reported stress.

What is one (1) tip or takeaway you got from the Qualtrics tutorial?
What is one (1) question you might be interested in asking someone that is related to music?
What is one (1) question you might be interested in asking someone that is related to stress?
Think through why I might have picked these two very separate topics of music and stress. In your own mind, can you think of how they might be related, if at all? Can you tie these two topics together in your own life, and if so, feel free to share.
