Case Study:

Coach
Michelle is an attractive single woman serving as the head women’s
basketball coach. Coach Mike has recently been hired as the men’s
basketball coach, and was just married prior to obtaining this coaching
position.

During
the first few months of school, Michelle and Mike have had the
opportunity to spend a good deal of time together while working out
practice schedules, facility use, and other training plans.

Soon
they are seen meeting before and after school in local restaurants and
snack bars. They have been seen arriving and leaving school together,
perhaps for reasons of scouting and/or other planning sessions.

Talk about their relationship begins to occur between staff, students, and citizens of the town. As athletic director, you receive a call from a

board/booster member who asks why a married man and single woman are engaging in this relationship

For this submission:

• Using Access, create the table that you described for the company you chose for the Module Two discussion. Include a minimum of seven fields.
• Be sure to appropriately label the data types and give appropriate titles to the metadata (fields).
• Input two data records into the table.
• Create a Word document that contains a description of the completed table. Be sure to include the company name and why the company would use this table, along with the table name, fields, and data types of each field.
• Submit both the Word document and the Access file (.accdb) as individual files, but include both files in the same submission.

Third paragraph:

The third paragraph of the body shall contain the weakest argument, weakest example, weakest illustration, or an obvious follow up to the second paragraph in the body. The first sentence of this paragraph shall include the reverse hook which ties in with the transitional hook at the end of the second paragraph. The topic for this paragraph should be in the first or second sentence. This topic should relate to the thesis statement in the introductory paragraph. The last sentence in this paragraph shall include a transitional concluding hook that signals the reader that this is the final major point being made in this paper. This hook also leads into the last, or concluding, paragraph.

Concluding paragraph:

This paragraph shall include the following: (1) an allusion to the pattern used in the introductory paragraph, (2) a restatement of the thesis statement, using some of the original language or language that “echoes” the original language. (The restatement, however, must not be a duplicate thesis statement.) (3) a summary of the three main points from the body of the paper. (4) a final statement that gives the reader signals that the discussion has come to an end. (This final statement may be a “call to action” in a persuasive paper.)

For the Final Project, you will select a public organization (federal, state, or local)

or non-profit organization with which you are familiar. This may be an

organization for which you currently work or have worked, know about from

others, or have learned about through academic resources and/or the media, as

long as it is not a private for-profit organization. With this organization in mind,

you will explore the various topics of the course. As you progress through the

readings and assignments in the course, think about how these topics relate to

finance and budgeting within the organization you selected. The Learning

Resources, the Discussions, and the Assignments will assist you in completing

each section of the Final Project.

Your Final Project should contain the following sections (the sections can be

reordered for appropriate flow):

1. Mission and goals of the organization

2. Ethical considerations related to finance and budgeting within the

organization

3. Technological considerations for improving the efficiency or effectiveness

of finance and budgeting within the organization

4. Applicable laws, regulations, and policies impacting the organization’s

6. Internal factors impacting successful strategic financial planning

7. The organization’s usage of cost-benefit analysis

8. Overview of the organization’s cash management and investment

strategies

9. Assessment of the organization’s overall financial condition

Your Final Project must demonstrate both breadth and depth of knowledge and

critical thinking appropriate to graduate-level scholarship. It must follow the

Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association guidelines and be

free of typographical, spelling, and grammatical errors. Also, you must use at

least six scholarly sources from the library that were published within the past

five years to support the paper.

The project should be 14–15 pages in length (double-spaced), not including the

title page, the abstract, and references.

   people – participants are anonymous

Delphi is great example of mixed methods data collection –
if you will be using short answer questions in the beginning. You can use all
quantitative/scale questions such as ranking.

Paradigm shift – example with study on type of car – oil
crisis, environmental push. Example in social science with parenting, eating
behaviors – low carb, celebrities can impact.
