Option #1: Federal Committee Selection Guidelines

You are a member of one of the four federal committees with health policy jurisdiction. You have been nominated to revise selection guidelines for future committee members and suggest future areas of policy and legislative focus.

In your guide of 2-3 pages, address the following topics:

Identify your committee and the role of your committee in formulating health policies.

Areas of focus for the committee: Proposed areas of focus

Significant legislation sponsored by your committee

Current member selection guidelines

Proposed revisions to selection guidelines that would improve committee effectiveness.

Submit a 2-3 page paper exclusive of the title and reference pages, follows APA style formatting.

In 500-750 words (not including the title page and reference page),
provide a description of the methods to be used to implement the
proposed solution. Include the following:

1. Describe the setting and access to potential subjects. If
   there is a need for a consent or approval form, then one must be
   created. Although you will not be submitting the consent or approval
   form(s) in Topic 5 with the narrative, the consent or approval
   form(s) should be placed in the appendices for the final paper.
2. Describe the amount of time needed to complete this project.
   Create a timeline. Make sure the timeline is general enough that it
   can be implemented at any date. Although you will not be submitting
   the timeline in Topic 5 with the narrative, the timeline should be
   placed in the appendices for the final paper.
3. Describe the
   resources (human, fiscal, and other) or changes needed in the
   implementation of the solution. Consider the clinical tools or
   process changes that would need to take place. Provide a resource
   list. Although you will not be submitting the resource list in Topic
   5 with the narrative, the resource list should be placed in the
   appendices for the final paper.
4. Describe the methods and
   instruments, such as a questionnaire, scale, or test to be used for
   monitoring the implementation of the proposed solution. Develop the
   instruments. Although you will not be submitting the individual
   instruments in Topic 5 with the narrative, the instruments should be
   placed in the appendices for the final paper.
5. Explain the
   process for delivering the (intervention) solution and indicate if
   any training will be needed.
6. Provide an outline of the data
   collection plan. Describe how data management will be maintained and
   by whom. Furthermore, provide an explanation of how the data
   analysis and interpretation process will be conducted. Develop the
   data collection tools that will be needed. Although you will not be
   submitting the data collection tools in Topic 5 with the narrative,
   the data collection tools should be placed in the appendices for the
   final paper.
7. Describe the strategies to deal with the
   management of any barriers, facilitators, and challenges.
8. Establish the feasibility of the implementation plan. Address
   the costs for personnel, consumable supplies, equipment (if not
   provided by the institute), computer related costs (librarian
   consultation, database access, etc.), and other costs (travel,
   presentation development). Make sure to provide a brief rationale
   for each. Develop a budget plan. Although you will not be submitting
   the budget plan in Topic 5 with the narrative, the budget plan
   should be placed in the appendices for the final paper.
9. Describe the plans to maintain, extend, revise, and discontinue
   a proposed solution after implementation.

Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the
APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is
not required.

discussion topic for week 7 — response to Todd Riley WRTG 293 students, Please read through the following problem-based scenario about a credit card company manager who receives an application for a credit card from Todd Riley, who is not old enough to apply for a credit card without a cosigner. Then write a short response to Todd as the scenario describes. Your response should be about 150-200 words in length. This might be considered a conventional “bad news” situation. Nonetheless, consider whether you are really giving Todd bad news. He can, after all, get a credit card if he takes some extra steps. In addition, please respond to at least one other student’s post in this discussion thread. In your response to a fellow student, comment on the organization, word choice, tone, or whatever else you feel is appropriate. I need a 250-300 word essay on globalization, the Columbian Exchange, describing the term in the first paragraph, and a second paragraph explaining how own life has been impacted by the Columbian Exchange, and what do we take for granted that are a direct resut of the first great period of globalization. 

This is a rushed essay, as an ellective class, I’d love to learn, but there is not enough time to finish all assignments in the small time allowed. This one is of least importance in my studies, but need a good grade I don’t have time to read upon.

What type of technical solutions help manage this?
3. With the move to consumer driven healthcare, what steps can we take as individual consumers to
ensure we obtain the necessary healthcare services at a cost that we are comfortable with?
4. What are some of the technologies that help drive the consumer driven healthcare model? How long
before you feel these technologies truly make an impact on this model?
5. How does security and HIPPA play into all this technology to where the patient is comfortable is
utilizing the solutions?
6. Finally, how do healthcare organizations marry their clinical/administrative processes alongside of
technology implementation?
