Overview: The final project for this course is the creation of an impact of governmental action on a business paper. For Milestone Three you will submit the
Analysis section of your final project, which is Section II of the critical elements. Your analysis should include answers to all the questions in the Analysis section
on business environment, sustainability, internal resources, communication, company image, response, impact, and external resources.

Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

I. Analysis: After submitting your overview, your boss is having second thoughts about bringing Jack Harris and his firm, Crisis Consulting, on board. Before
he makes his final decision he has asked you to provide him with a thorough analysis of the situation faced by your business. He asks you to prepare a
memorandum to him (the CEO) analyzing the situation that your business faces as well as the resources that are available to it.

Address the following:

A. Business Environment: Based on your analysis of the governmental action or political challenge, what will be the impact of the governmental
action or political challenge on the business’s financial situation and operations? Does the action represent an opportunity or a threat?

B. Sustainability: Based on your analysis of the governmental action or political challenge, how will the governmental action or political challenge
impact the sustainability of the business?

C. Internal Resources: Evaluate the internal resources of the company, including the business project teams that are available to respond to the
opportunity or threat. In other words, is the business adequately organized to address the opportunity or threat?

D. Communication: How has information about the situation been communicated to various stakeholders? For example, have any public hearings
been held? Have the radio, newspapers, or social media been used?

E. Company Image: Assess how the situation has affected the company’s public image. Has the impact been primarily positive or negative? If the
impact has been primarily negative, what are the positive aspects in addition to the negative aspects? If the impact has been primarily positive,
what are the negative aspects in addition to the positive aspects?

F. Response: What are the potential courses of action to respond to the situation in the current macroeconomic and business environment? In
other words, what is the range of options for the business in this situation?

G. Impact: How will these courses of action impact the business? Make sure to consider both short- and long-term impacts, including operational,
financial, and ethical implications.

H. External Resources: Evaluate the roles and functions of third parties or external resources in the situation. Consider questions such as these in
your response: How will lobbyists be involved in the situation? Will there be public affairs professionals who will argue on behalf of the
government or the business?

Guidelines for Submission: Your paper must be submitted as an 8-10 page Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and sources cited in APA format.

The research materials will be comprised of original documents, works, secondary, and tertiary sources. Additional materials to explore are published collection of original documents, diaries, and memoirs; and secondary sources, such as newspaper articles, scholarly articles, and/or books that others have written which contain information concerning the Innovator you choose to examine. For this short paper you will do research on the Innovator you choose, analyze the data and create a brief paper in which you explain why the historical person you chose deserves to be considered an Innovator. Your choice of “Innovator can be either one who made positive or negative innovations in history. Your short paper will contain the information found in many different sources, which serve as the support and proof of the status of “Innovator” that you bestow on this person.

Your completed short paper project must be TYPED and DOUBLE-SPACED; top, bottom, left, and right margins should be one inch, and the paper should be compiled in the following order:

Length of short paper is a total of nine pages

1.Title Page- Is a required first page

The title page should include the title of your paper, your name, the number and title of the course, the name of the institution, and the date of submission. This information is normally centered between the top and bottom, and left and right margins. A title page is not numbered. You must use a page break to separate the title page from the narrative of the paper.

2. Content Pages are a total seven pages

These pages contain your narrative explanation of the person chosen as an innovator.

3. Page One

Center the title of the paper, followed by your name, just above the first line of the research paper. The first page of the paper is not numbered but counts as page number one. You began your narrative several spaces below the title and your name.

4 The Remaining Pages

Your first paragraph introduces your topic. It should have a brief summary of the topic, why the topic is important, and/or an interesting story to get the reader’s attention. The introduction must contain your thesis statement and brief means of how you are going to prove/support your thesis.

Remember you must write seven full pages of content.

Cultural Views Toward Health Behavior

There are many ways to define culture, each of which has a place and purpose. Culture can be thought of in the “high culture” sense, which might include the artistic, literary, and musical achievements of a culture. It can be thought of in the anthropological sense, that culture is a set of beliefs, practices, and values to which a group of people adhere and that characterize them. It can also be thought of as an ever-evolving pattern of learned behavior, language, and beliefs shared amongst a group of people. As you can see, there are different ways to talk about culture, and each way is more or less useful within specific contexts.

In the context of health behavior, it may be most helpful to think of culture as an evolving landscape of learned behavior and socialization. As with all facets of life, different cultural groups may have different views about health and health behavior, which are a part of that evolving landscape of learned behavior and beliefs. Knowing cultural attitudes can help you make informed planning and implementation decisions about health behavior change programs.

For this Discussion, select either tobacco use or dieting. Then choose a particular cultural or ethnic group and research this group’s views toward the health behavior issue you selected. Consider how and why these views might pose challenges to implementing behavior change programs for this issue.

With these thoughts in mind:

Post by Day 4 the health behavior issue and cultural or ethnic group you selected. Provide a summary of your findings on the group’s views toward the behavior. Then explain why these attitudes might pose challenges to implementing behavior change programs for this issue within the cultural or ethnic group. Be specific and support your response with references to the Learning Resources.
