Select one country as the basis for exploring the possibility of starting a joint venture in that country. You are assigned by your supervisor to conduct a full country risk analysis for this country and the telecommunications industry in that country. You are to present your findings to the Board of Directors in the form of a risk analysis report.

Your supervisor has asked for you to divide your report into the following areas for analysis:

  • Economic Risk
  • Political Risk
  • Business Environment Risk
  • Currency Risk
  • Recommendations for proceeding and suggestion of two additional financial analysis methods which could be used to further support the decision.

You are to conduct a country/industry risk report, identifying as many factors as possible in the categories listed above for the analysis.  Present your findings in a report of 10 pages.

In your report, you will make a recommendation to your supervisor as to whether or not the company should proceed with this venture.  Suggest two additional financial analysis methods which should be explored further in analyzing the feasibility of starting the global joint venture.  Explain your recommendations.

Develop a three- to four-page analysis, excluding the title page and reference page(s), on the projected return on investment for your college education and projected future employment. This analysis will consist of two parts. First, explain how you made the decision to pursue a degree in Business or Finance. In your explanation, include a summary of expenses related to that decision. Also, include things like cost of tuition, cost of books, and the interest that you may pay on any loans. Next, conduct research on your desired occupation and identify how much compensation (return) you expect to earn. How long will it take to pay back the return on this investment? Be sure to consider the trade-off between the cost of education and the expected return on investment. Your paper should be comprehensive and it should include specific examples. Format your paper according to APA style.

The ‘Portfolio Assessment’ in Economics Principles is designed for students… 1 answer below »

The ‘Portfolio Assessment’ in Economics Principles is designed for students to collaboratively explore illustrative aspects or examples of the Unit Learning Objectives (ULOs). The ULOs are listed in the Unit Outline. It is anticipated an individual group member is primarily responsible for the exploration of material illustrative of one Unit Learning Objective (ULO) but that all group members will become familiar with, and assume ownership of, all elements of the Portfolio. After the formation of groups, a first step is for group members to decide which ULO it is that they wish to illustrate or explore. A second step is to determine which content aspects of the course relate to the ULO chosen, and then to choose which topic area(s) to focus on. The weekly aims stated on Canvas indicate how content topics relate to certain ULOs and this information may assist students in their topic selections. There are certain expectations to be met when writing the Portfolio. Layout should include a title page, delineated sections per ULO and a reference list. Material from microeconomics and macroeconomics should be included in the Portfolio. Chosen topics should clearly relate to the ULO and be written to a non-Economics literate audience. Students should avoid plagiarism. As well as showing understanding of basic concepts, authors are expected to demonstrate evidence of further analysis and exploration, such as by relating basic theory to previous or contemporary events. Use of diagrams, contemporary statistical data/forecasts are encouraged/expected. Students should explore wider secondary sources in addition to course materials and textbook. In the selection and exploration of topics, students should consult their teacher. The Portfolio assessment assumes group cooperation and coordination. Key Generic Skills to the Unit include Communication and Peoples Skills. Group work can pose interpersonal challenges and such occasions should be viewed opportunities to practice and develop assertion, conflict resolution and listening skills. In instances where interpersonal problems (e.g. social loafing) cannot be solved by group members, at the teacher’s discretion, individuals may be withdrawn and asked to complete all sections of the Portfolio.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX) was passed as the result of the Enron scandal and other instances of accounting fraud. This act was passed to strengthen the role of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Create a 1,400-word analysis of the application of SOX in which you include the following: Discuss the mistakes made by the company and their leadership. Discuss the steps leadership could have taken to prevent or mitigate the repercussions. Explain the role of market pressures on unethical behavior. Examine the influence of the basics of finance and how the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 changed things. Evaluate the influence of Sarbanes-Oxley Act on ethical behavior. Are businesses more ethical since the enactment? Explain the changes companies needed to make in how they use and present financial statements. Discuss how SOX has affected your current place of employment if at all, and if not, how it has affected others in the same industry. Cite a minimum of 2 scholarly sources. Early Intervention Strategies Digital Brochure

One priority for early intervention services is communication and support to families. Families are a young child’s first teacher and lifelong advocates. Parents of young children with a disability may have never had to advocate for services and are often new to navigating the system of supports in public school and other agency settings. Collaboration with parents of young children often involves informing parents of their roles, defining the role of the school, and helping parents understand and navigate the state agency supports available for young children.

Create a 250-500 word digital brochure for families of children in preschool-kindergarten that describes services and supports for individuals with disabilities. Choose one specific disability category from IDEA to complete your brochure.

Describe the following in your digital brochure, keeping in mind your chosen disability category:

Role of the family in accessing early intervention services. Role of the state in providing early intervention services. Role of service providers in providing early intervention programs in public schools. Three e skills, and literacy skills in their children affected by the chosen disability. One local organization that families could contact to learn more about the disability and community services that might be available.

The brochure should be respectful and appropriate in tone and word choice for the family audience. Support your findings with 2-3 scholarly resources.

While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success enter.
