In this assessment you will create a 500word reflective journal in which you compare different cultural or environmental perspectives. Explain the role of society and caregivers in development by considering the interaction of the major themes as factors influencing the developmental physical, cognitive and psychosocial pathways:

Begin by reflecting on your own opinions of appropriate infant care within your chosen topic. Then, address this hypothetical situation.

If you were to bring home a brand new baby today, how would your culture (race, ethnicity, traditions, etc.) or the context of your environment (i.e. your age, your living situation, your career, and your education/financial situation) influence the decisions you would make regarding infant care (i.e. bonding, sleeping, feeding, vaccinations, and/or fathers’ roles)?After describing a few specific examples of how your own culture or environmental context would influence parenting an infant today, choose one of the following:
pick a culture different from your own and give two to three examples of how it might influence infant care decisions, orexplain how your view of appropriate infant care might change if you altered one or two aspects of your environment.Explain at least two similarities and two differences between the cultures or environmental contexts you’ve identified in regards to how they influence infant care.

1.  In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges facing MNC’s in today’s economy and why? Allow for political,technological, and economic challenges.                     
2. Why is it useful to have an 8-step negotiation model? What are the consequences if a step is skipped?                          
3. Which of the cross-cultural themes discussed in Chapter 4 do you feel is most vital to the success of an MNC and why?                           
4. How should an HR department evolve to match a company’s expansion overseas? Which leadership roles are most important in this scenario?                          
5. Characterize the future of US-based companies desiring to expand overseas within the next 5 years. What political, economic, and technological challenges might those companies face and why? How can they be overcome?

Memos usually have one or two blank spaces between the bottom of a paragraph and the top of the heading below it. If there are two blank spaces above (triple spaced), there should be one below. If only one blank space appears above the heading (double spaced), then there should be no blanks below. The effect is that the heading “hangs with” the text it describes.
The tone of a memo is usually formal, although some use of “you” is acceptable. Generally, writers are advised to avoid addressing the reader directly, unless the content requires such address.

(1) Search the Internet using a search engine (such as Google) for a recent article that discusses a change in the price of something.  For example, search “price increase,” “price rise,” “price drop,” or “price decrease.”  (I recommend you avoid articles about the stock market.)  Copy the URL address of the web site.  You will need to post it.

(2) Determine the cause of the price change by reading the article.  Then try to identify which of the theoretical demand or supply shifters is the cause of the price change.  Next state whether demand or supply, or both, shift to the right or to the left. The article should suggest the cause, such as increased popularity, higher costs of production, or something similar, and you should try to figure out if that represents an increase (shift to the right) or decrease (shift to the left) of the demand or supply curves.  If the article does not suggest a cause of the price change, then you must find another article. It is important the article you choose allows you to identify one or more supply or demand shifters. Otherwise, the article will not be suitable for this discussion thread.

(3) After you have stated which diagram best describes the situation in your article, write a short paragraph stating what should happen to the equilibrium price and equilibrium quantity in the graph. These are the theoretical model predictions (for example, you may find that equilibrium price should increase, while equilibrium quantity should decrease by looking at the graph). Last, conclude by stating whether the theoretical predictions match any findings/statements in the article. If this is not mentioned in the article, state that as well.

IN ORDER TO RECEIVE FULL CREDIT FOR THIS DISCUSSION BOARD, YOU NEED TO POST THREE THINGS:

(1)  The URL address of your chosen article that discusses a price change.

(2) A description of how the supply and demand model changed from its initial equilibrium because of the events described in the article.

(3) A paragraph that describes how the supply & demand diagram (the theoretical model predictions) could explain the price change discussed in the article.
