“New†is a relative term. All media
was new media once. How has the current group of new media impacted culture? To
answer this question, choose one type of new media and explain how it has
impacted you as an individual. Think about how your life would be different
without that media in your life: that’s the impact. Next, consider how the
existing culture has affected that media.

Develop a 3 paragraph journal entry,
use multiple examples to earn a “Distinguished” mark when examining
how this “new” media has been impacted by culture, and how it has
impacted you (a representative of that culture). Be sure to support your
analysis with sources. Supporting your position helps you establish
credibility, and substantiates it with reliable sources. Please proofread
