Draft a conclusion

Draft the conclusion of your report using the information discussed in this section and the examples given. Remember to ensure that your conclusion is based on discussion within the body of your document.

MY REPORT talk about who we can help the government to reduce the risk of COVID-19

my report conclude that we can manufacture some stuff like masks and gloves, then find organizations to donate those stuff. also, we can volunteer in food companies to provide enough products for the community.

A good conclusion will:

  • Briefly summarize the contents of your report:
    • Your summary should reflect or recall your executive summary, and revisit highlights that lead to a conclusion.
    • Avoid using too many details.
    • Highlight key points that summarize your most important pieces of information.
  • Offer a Brief Action Plan
    • Give the reader a very brief overview of your implementation schedule, and some of the steps necessary to accomplish a task, fix a problem, or implement a solution. But keep it brief – you’ve already given them this in detail in other sections.
  • Make a Subjective Statement
    • Explain why the facts and information you have presented in your report are important.
  • Demonstrate a Benefit
    • Tell your audience what they will get out of investing in your idea. What’s in it for them?
  • Include Supporting Data
    • Following the written portion of your report (including the conclusion), it is permissible to include an appendix, which may include charts, graphs, a budget, photos or other support documents that help strengthen your case. You may provide some of this information in the body of your report, but you may also save some for appendixes, if you find it advisable to do so. The reason you may include an appendix is that including all of the data/charts in the body of your report might risk reading your report too laborious a task for your readers. Furthermore, an appendix can bolster your ethos in that it proves to your audience, once again, that you have done your due diligence in your research.
