Topic:
The benefits, challenges, and strategies of communicating in
a culturally diverse workplace environment.
First examine the challenges of the culturally diverse workplace
environment, clearly identifying the specific major challenges that these
organizations face related to diversity.
Give specific examples of each of those major challenges. Next, explain how specific communication
strategies can address those challenges. Again, provide very clear
examples. Finally, you can conclude with
the benefits of using communication to both address and prevent such challenges
within culturally diverse workplace environments.

Assignment:
In this learning activity, you will write a first draft of
the Humanities Capstone Research Paper that includes a title page, an
introduction, the literature review, discussion, and reference list.
Please use the format below to prepare your literature
review.
1.Title page with your name .
2.An abstract page .
3.An introduction section that describes the purpose of your
paper (approximately one page) .
4.A literature review section that provides a summary of
information (approximately five to six pages) that you retrieved from sources,
including citations for each .
5.A discussion section (one to two pages) .
6.A reference list for a minimum of five sources used for
your paper (approximately one page) .
•All first drafts will be checked for originality using
Turnitin.com. Remember to use quotation marks for any direct quotations taken
from your sources. Quotations should
account for no more than 10% of the text in your literature review. You should summarize or paraphrase the
information from other sources to avoid plagiarism. .
•Your first draft should be free of spelling and grammar
errors. .
•The paper should be double-spaced in Times New Roman 12
point font. .
•The paper should clearly identify two distinct areas of the
humanities that represent your topic. .
•The paper should clearly demonstrate how critical thinking
is applied to the paper topic in the discussion section. .
•The reference list must contain a minimum of eight credible
sources.

Your first draft of the paper should be 8 to 10
pages in length, double- spaced, and in APA format.
•The style of the research paper should be formal, meaning
it should use scholarly, objective language rather than informal, subjective
language. Do not use first person
narration that includes words such as I, me, we, us, etc. .
•APA format should be used to provide the reference list and
the parenthetical citations.
•The essay is well organized and logically structured. .
•The hypothesis is clearly stated and arguments are
presented logically to support the hypothesis. .
•The essay integrates key concepts from the readings. .
