It is not uncommon to find workplace situations that require the talents of a transformational leader. For this assignment, following the directions below to prepare an APA paper of no more than 5 pages.

  • Locate a case study where a transformational leadership approach was used by a leader. Be sure to include a brief overview of the case study in your paper.
  • Identify the required change the leader needed to make.
  • Analyze how Intellectual Stimulation was used with the followers to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Discuss the elements of creativity, risk taking, problem solving, and any other elements that you believe helped the leader to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Evaluate how success was measured as a result of the changes made by that leader.
  • As an individual who is on your own path to becoming a transformational leader, what recommendations would you make for how the leader in the case study could have managed the situation better?
