Questions:

1. In his article, IT Doesn’t Matter Carr
   discusses vanishing advantages associated with technologies and
   contrasts proprietary technologies with infrastructural technologies.
   Are there still examples of proprietary technologies with advantage?
   Provide some examples. Is the use of technology an opportunity to gain
   advantage? Include examples of companies with superior insight into the
   use of new technology.
2. Also in the IT Doesn’t Matter article, Carr
   addresses moving from “offense to defense” when it comes to technology,
   provide examples of what Carr calls the biggest risk – Overspending.
3. Additionally, in the afterword for the book The Shallows Excerpt,
   Nicholas Carr talks about our dependency on technology for individuals
   at all ages. This is also highlighted in Is Google Making Us Stupid.
   Please describe how you handle the distractions of technology and
   whether or not technology has impacted your ability to deeply
   concentrate when that is required.
