Perform a SWOT analysis of your current place of employment (or a place of employment with which you are very familiar). In a formal APA (7th edition) paper describe the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of the organization. Identify three to four goals that can be used for strategic planning and organizational development. Draw on content from this module’s lecture and readings. Use the findings to define your organization’s competencies and competitive advantage.  This assignment should be 3-5 pages in length with the exception of the title and reference pages. 

This can be done at the  Department of Juvenile Justice as place of employment 

SWOT Analysis

Understanding how to perform a SWOT analysis is an important part of the role as a nursing executive in strategic planning. In module 3 you are expected to view the You Tube video that will introduce you to the topic of a SWOT analysis. Additionally, you are expected to view the Power Points and read all supplemental articles to support module 3 assignments.

 

To support your assignment for this week, post your SWOT analysis diagram to include all 4 quadrants of a SWOT. DO NOT post this as an attachment but rather in the body of your initial DB posting.  This will support your formal assignment due at the end of the week.  You are not required to include references for this discussion or to meet APA formatting. Simply insert the completed SWOT diagram for your discussion post. You will be required to respond to your peers about their diagrams.
