The Assignment

Bill Ptacek has asked you to provide him a report with recommendations to help him out with the dilemma laid out at the end of the case. Of course, you will provide alternatives along with your recommendations and an implementation plan, with timeline and budget. You should be very careful of “yin and yang” problems.

Assume the current year is 2010, and that the “plan” is the “The Year 2020 Plan.”

Please make sure this reflects your best effort – think hard about the options, don’t just throw out the first thing that comes into your head. Ask yourself – why is my answer wrong. Think critically and reflect from multiple perspectives. But make sure you approach the final recommendations as if you were walking in Bill’s shoes. Avoid excessive regurgitation of case materials.

Your “briefing” presentation will be to Bill.

The 15 page should exclude 3 page of executive summary+ graphics + tables

Make sure executive summary 3 page of single spaced

You should provide me 3 files Word + Excel + PPT,Thanks.

capstone goals

Formulate at least five “SMART” goals for your nursing education. We recommend starting with two long-term and three short-term goals, however, these need not be how your final submission is organized. Keep in mind, you will be revising or updating these throughout your career.

SMART is an acronym that stands for:

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Realistic
  • Time

Develop at least five professional goals and evaluate progress toward achievement near the time of graduation.

  • The goals need to have a date of completion and must be measurable; you must state briefly how you will attain those goals.
  • Provide at least five SMART professional goals.
  • Detail how you plan to achieve each goal.
  • Include a completion date for each (at minimum the month and year).
  • Review the rubric for more information on how your assignment will be graded.
  • Upload as an attachment in the assignment area.

use the vocabulary words to write a short story doesn t have to be very long just use all the words 5

  1. The term programming covers both the process and product of writing computer code. It is the logic and calculations that create the step by step process for getting the computer to do something.
  2. The logic you create is how you tell the computer to do or not do something based on certain conditions.
  3. You create calculations to use data you know to figure out what you want to know. They can be mathematical or other types of manipulations.
  4. The programming languages we use to create code are a lot like human languages. They are different ways of saying the same thing: logic and calculations
  5. All programming code is lines of text that tell the computer step by step what to do.
  6. An algorithm is a determined process that leads you (or more to the point a computer) from a beginning point to defined end.
  7. In the algorithms that we discussed, loops are really important. They keep the system from stopping until you decide to stop it.
Instructions

in 3 pages i d like you to state what an education means to you i d like you to compare what an education means to you with what an education means for machiavelli and descartes consider this passage from the quot letter to vettori quot

When evening comes, I return home and enter my study; on the threshold I take off my workday clothes, covered with mud and dirt, and put on the garments of court and palace. Fitted out appropriately, I step inside the venerable courts of the ancients, where, solicitously received by them, I nourish myself on that food that alone is mine and for which I was born; where I am unashamed to converse with them and to question them about the motives for their actions, and they, out of their human kindness, answer me. And for four hours at a time I feel no boredom, I forget all my troubles, I do not dread poverty, and I am not terrified by death. I absorb myself into them completely.

Machiavelli says there comes a time every day where he sits and talks to the thinkers of the past, trying to understand why they wrote, thought, and acted as they did. How is he educating himself? What does an education mean to him? How does this relate to the world he lives in?

I would like you to consider Descartes. This passage is from the Discourse on Method, which we didn’t read:

From my childhood, I have been familiar with letters; and as I was given to believe that by their help a clear and certain knowledge of all that is useful in life might be acquired, I was ardently desirous of instruction. But as soon as I had finished the entire course of study, at the close of which it is customary to be admitted into the order of the learned, I completely changed my opinion. For I found myself involved in so many doubts and errors, that I was convinced I had advanced no farther in all my attempts at learning, than the discovery at every turn of my own ignorance. And yet I was studying in one of the most celebrated schools in Europe, in which I thought there must be learned men, if such were anywhere to be found. I had been taught all that others learned there; and not contented with the sciences actually taught us, I had, in addition, read all the books that had fallen into my hands, treating of such branches as are esteemed the most curious and rare. I knew the judgment which others had formed of me; and I did not find that I was considered inferior to my fellows, although there were among them some who were already marked out to fill the places of our instructors. And, in fine, our age appeared to me as flourishing, and as fertile in powerful minds as any preceding one. I was thus led to take the liberty of judging of all other men by myself, and of concluding that there was no science in existence that was of such a nature as I had previously been given to believe.

Descartes doesn’t merely say “I didn’t really learn as much as I wanted to at school.” He says “there was no science in existence that was of such a nature as I had previously been given to believe”–in other words, school, in some way, was promoting delusional thinking.

Papers that receive high marks will state what an education means, then explore what an education might mean for Machiavelli and Descartes. Good papers should wrestle with the problem that there are different values and different demands at stake, and they may all be equally valid in some way.

discussion 2 documents and website content as data sources for a qualitative study

Websites and social media sites can provide important sources of data that will help expand your understanding of the stakeholders who are connected to the phenomena you are exploring.

Walden has devoted an entire website to making visible its actions and activities about social change. At the social change website, you will find videos, annual reports, text, and images. As you explore this data source, consider what text, images, and reports you would like to include as part of your data analysis exercise.

To prepare for this Discussion:

  • Choose one of the three social change literature review articles found in this week’s Learning Resources and review the article in detail.
  • Explore the Walden Social Change website and locate an additional document, video, or webpage that will inform your understanding of the meaning of positive social change. Reflect on any additional sources you find.
  • Next, write field notes based on the information you gathered from the Walden social change website and any other documents or websites that might inform your changing impressions about the meaning of positive social change.
  • Finally, review the media programs related to coding and consider how you will use this information to support this Discussion. Note: In your Excel Video Coding template there is a tab for your website data. Use this tab to place your content and codes for the website.

By Day 4

Prepare a brief explanation of your understanding of the meaning of positive social change thus far. Refer to the additional sources you have reviewed this week, and comment on how they are shaping your experience. Use the data you gathered from your analytic memo to support your explanation.

Be sure to support your main post and response post with reference to the week’s Learning Resources and other scholarly evidence in APA style.Zero plagiarizing, Quote work, No.com’s

behavioral theory behavior plan 2

Resources: Individual Case Studies, Behavior Plan Template, and “Effective Treatment for Addicted Criminal Justice Clients

Use the “Effective Treatment for Addicted Criminal Justice Clients” article as a sample for how to write a behavior plan. The “Case Study” section near the end of the article provides a good example of a behavior plan.

Choose one behavioral theory from your course textbook.

Choose one of the following case studies from the Individual Case Studies:

  • Case 1: Violet
  • Case 2: Max
  • Case 3: Onur

Complete the Behavior Plan Template based on your selected behavioral theory for your selected case-study patient —Violet, Max, or Onur.

Incorporate one peer-reviewed research study as justification for the theory you used in your plan.

Format your plan consistent with APA guidelines.
