Mary is planning to get married in the near future. Imagine Mary has an

When Linda was a child, her friends at school all earned a lot of money
if their grades were good. Linda went to her parents and asked that she
be given money for good report cards. Her parents agreed. She would
earn a nickel for every “A” and a dollar if she earned all “As.” Her
friends, of course, were offered much more money for good grades. Using
the overjustification effect, explain why Linda’s parents might have
offered her such meager monetary rewards for academic success.5.
Describe what a fixed versus a growth mindset is. Which mindset is more
likely to lead to subsequent success after a failure experience? Why?6.
Jessica thinks of herself as a health-conscious person. As she is
eating a steak one evening, she sees a news report that consuming red
meat increases the risk of breast cancer by over 50 percent. At this
moment, she is experiencing a large amount of cognitive dissonance.
State the three ways people can reduce dissonance and apply these
techniques to Jessica’s dissonance; that is, give an example of each of
the three dissonance reduction techniques Jessica could use.7.
Imagine you are about to take a very important exam that could impact
your future. A friend asks you how disappointed you think you would be

your actual reaction?8.

having watched the debate? Why or why not?9.

However, both were faced with similar situations where they could have
cheated on their partners. Now, Carl thinks that cheating is the worst
offense one can make in a relationship, whereas Roger thinks that most
people would cheat if they were faced with the situation. Explain what
could have occurred, both socially and psychologically, that could
produce such diverse positions from individuals who initially shared a
similar stance.10.

History 3 page summary and annotated bibliography of sources.

You already completed the Final paper, but I need that information put in a 3 page including annotated bibliography of sources.  I have attached the paper you completed.

Final Paper Preparation

This assignment will prepare you for the Final Paper by initiating the research process and will help you map out the specific events and developments you will explore in depth in your paper. Review the instructions for the Final Paper laid out in Week Five of the online course or the Components of Course Evaluation section of the Course Guide before beginning this project. For your Final Paper, you must discuss at least six specific events or developments related to your chosen topic.

For this assignment, you will choose your topic and the six (or more) related events and developments that span the years 1865 to the present. You will then work on the research for your essay, and develop a draft of your introduction with a thesis statement. For your research, you must compile at least eight scholarly sources; choose at least six of your scholarly secondary sources from the Ashford University Library and include at least two primary sources. Primary sources are documents or artifacts that were created at the time of a historical event or by someone who personally experienced a historical event. Primary sources can be newspaper or magazine articles, books, letters, speeches, photographs, oral histories, paintings, or any other record of a historical event. The best place to find scholarly sources is the Ashford University Library’s research databases and eBook collection.

In a paragraph or two at the beginning of the paper, identify the events and developments you will discuss in your Final Paper, explain why you believe they are significant, and state your thesis. Your thesis should be a one or two sentence summary of the main conclusions that you drew while researching your topic and that you will support in your paper by constructing a logical argument based on evidence (sources).

You will then create a summary of sources by completing an annotated bibliography. To create an annotated bibliography, list each source in full APA reference format. Then, beneath each source write a one or two paragraph explanation of the important information in the source and how you plan to use it in your paper. The annotations must be in your own words. It is not acceptable to copy and paste the abstract or any other text. You must have annotations for all eight sources.

Please notice that you have been provided with many wonderful primary and secondary sources in the required reading and recommended reading sections for each week. Feel free to use these sources when constructing your assignment. Please visit the Academic Research section on your Course Home page (accessible through the Student Responsibilities and Policies tab on the left navigation toolbar) to review what types of materials are not acceptable for academic, university level research.

This assignment must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • The paper must be three pages in length (excluding title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
  • You must use at least eight scholarly resources other than the textbook to support your claims.
  • Two of these sources should be primary sources; the remaining six sources should be scholarly secondary sources from the Ashford University Library.
  • You must provide a draft of your introduction with a concise thesis statement.
  • You must provide a one paragraph annotation for each source.
  • You must cite your sources within the text of your paper.

The RN to BSN program at Grand Canyon University meets the requirements for clinical competencies as defined by CCNE and AACN using nontraditional experiences for practicing nurses. These experiences come in the form of direct and indirect care experiences in which licensed nursing students to engage in learning within the context of their hospital organization, their specific care discipline, and their local communities. As the country focuses on the restructuring of the U.S. health care delivery system, nurses will continue to play an important role. It is expected that more and more nursing jobs will become available out in the community, and fewer will be available in acute care hospitals. Write an informal presentation (500-700 words) to educate nurses about how the practice of nursing is expected to grow and change. Include the concepts of continuity or continuum of care, accountable care organizations (ACO), medical homes, and nurse-managed health clinics. Share your presentation with nurse colleagues on your unit or department and ask them to offer their impressions of the anticipated changes to health care delivery and the new role of nurses in hospital settings, communities, clinics, and medical homes. In 800-1,000 words summarize the feedback shared by three nurse colleagues and discuss whether their impressions are consistent with what you have researched about health reform. A minimum of three scholarly references are required for this assignment.

The FAR and Contract Provisions for Protection, law homework help

Imagine that you are a contracts officer for the Department of Energy (DOE). You have been asked to review bids from contractors who have developed a new widget for saving the American public twenty-five percent (25%) on their energy bills. Once an award is made, the contractors will receive the contract, which includes provisions to minimize risks and define rights and obligations, from the Department of Energy.

Review Federal Acquisition Review (FAR) “52.246-1 Contractor Inspection Requirements”.

Note: You may create and / or make all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment.

Write a three to four (3-4) page paper in which you:

  1. Evaluate the importance of the standard default clause. As a contracts officer for the DOE, suggest two (2) ways in which you could combine the standard default clause with the FAR’s delay provision for the protection of both parties to the contract. Provide a rationale for your response.
  2. Speculate on the impact that a contracting officer’s changes to the payment terms within the contract would exert upon both the government and the contractor. Next, suggest the most secure method for making a contractual change. Justify your response.
  3. As a contracts officer for the DOE, suggest two (2) improvements that you would make to the inspection procedure in order to make the procedure more efficient. Provide a rationale for your response.
  4. Use at least three (3) quality academic resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar websites do not qualify as academic resources.
