Procter-and-Gamble-Business-Strategy

Procter and Gamble Business Strategy

Procter and Gamble: This is a huge multinational firm with products you probably buy every day. This business is interesting because the company is focusing on science and technology to help it revise many of its business strategies and contribute to overall company goals for sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Write a 4–6 page business analysis to the VP of strategy in a key business unit for your selected firm. Use headings and subheadings to help organize the key points and include the following:

  • Explain the generic business strategies, including cost, differentiation, and focus or hybrid information, for the selected firm.
  • Analyze what business strategies the selected firm is using in their marketplace approach. Provide examples of how they use the strategy to position itself in a competitive environment.
  • Analyze the business model for the selected firm. What are their core products? How does the firm make money? What is the customer value proposition? What is the profit proposition?

Write coherently to support a central idea (in appropriate APA format) with correct grammar, usage, and mechanics as expected of a business professional.

Additional Requirements – References must be from four current, scholarly, or professional resources

  • Length: The body of the business analysis must be 4-6 double-spaced, typed pages, not including the references list.
  • Written communication: Demonstrate graduate-level writing skills through accurate communication of thoughts that convey the overall goals of the analysis and do not detract from the message.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 point.

Trigonometric-Functions

  1. OPEN ENDED Draw and label an example of an angle with negative measure in standard position. Then find an angle with positive measure that is coterminal with this angle.
  2. Writing in Math Use the information on page 779 to explain how trigonometry is used in building construction. Include an explanation as to why the ratio of vertical rise to horizontal run on an entrance ramp is the tangent of the angle the ramp makes with the horizontal.
  3. Writing in Math Use the information on page 796 to explain how you can model the position of riders on a skycoaster.

Community Health Care Roles and Functions

Resources

· Community Health Care Roles and Functions Scoring Guide.

· Community Health Care Roles and Functions Table

In this activity, you will complete the last of three similar tables exploring health care settings, to help you understand the health care team you may manage. Review instructions for completing it in Unit 4, if necessary. In the final unit, you will review the three tables you have completed, to identify an area in which you might be interested in pursuing your health care management career. Spend some time exploring each area, even if you have already decided which setting you want to pursue. It is important to understand the roles of your health care colleagues, including what they do—and what motivates them.

Using the Community Health Care Roles and Functions Table, examine the health care professions and departments involved in public policy, outcomes, and social marketing aspects of the health care field. Note that the list from the table is not all-inclusive. These are simply some of the most visible roles involved in community support and government policy regarding health care.

Determine the following for each role or professional area:

· Where it fits as a component in the chronic health care model (refer to the Unit 4 media piece).

· What the job duties entail, or what services the job provides.

· What might motivate individuals in that job role (typically more than money).

· Whether the role is reimbursable by insurance.

· What specific education or preparation is required for the role (include degree and topic of study, such as bachelor’s degree in nursing).

· The name of the primary professional organization representing the role.

Pick one field in which you could see yourself potentially managing or working after graduation. In one or two paragraphs, describe the role as you see it. Describe how you would motivate your colleagues and employees. Identify professional organizations pertinent to this role.

Communicating the Same Message to Different Audiences

Regardless of circumstances, everyone needs to understand laws, constitutional rights, and other aspects of the criminal justice system. Consider a scenario where you are assigned to convey the same information to different types of audiences. You should tailor your delivery and language to meet the needs of each group. With a group of non–native English speakers, your message might incorporate more basic words. With an audience of young children, on the other hand, your message might employ an upbeat delivery style and use of visual aids.

For this Discussion, select three audiences from the list provided. Then, consider how you would convey a specific message to these particular audiences. Finally, consider how your delivery of the message would vary between and among the audiences to be most effective.

  • Children
  • Juveniles (under the age of 18)
  • People with Mental Illness
  • Ethnic/Racial minorities
  • Persons living in poverty
  • Criminals
  • Immigrants
  • Non-English-speaking citizens
  • People with Intellectual Disabilities
  • Deaf Community
  • Elderly
  • Pregnant Women

With these thoughts in mind:

Post by Day 4 the three audiences you selected. Then explain how you would convey the message “Don’t do drugs” to each of the audiences. Be specific and provide examples. Finally, explain how your delivery of the message would vary between and among the audiences to be most effective. Provide a rationale for your different approaches.

Spreading-Innovation-

Spreading Innovation

An organization may be generally amenable to innovations but not ready or willing to assimilate a particular [Evidence-Based Practice] EBP …If there is tension around specific work or clinical issues and staff perceive that the situation is intolerable, a potential EBP is likely to be assimilated if it can successfully address the issues and thereby reduce the tension.
—Titler, 2010

Adoption of evidence-based innovations in nursing practice is a critical facet of promoting quality and safety. As a nurse leader-manager, you play a pivotal role in evaluating these innovations and promoting those that will positively impact outcomes.

To prepare:

  • Review the information on diffusion of innovation presented in the Learning Resources.
  • Visit the Agency for Healthcare Research and Qualities’ Innovation Exchange website (listed in the Learning Resources). Click on “Innovations & Quality Tools” or “Browse by Subject” then read through a selection of descriptions of innovations.
  • Evaluate how each of these innovations addresses a problem, and determine if you could integrate the innovation (or a similar one) into your organization or one with which you are familiar.
  • Select one of the innovations on which to focus for this Discussion. Think about how you might introduce this innovation in your selected organization, and strategies that you might use to facilitate communication and engagement needed to sustain the innovation.

By Day 3

Post a detailed review of one innovation that you found of particular interest on the AHRQ Innovation Exchange. Explain the problem being addressed, the innovation, and the outcomes and how you might introduce a similar innovation in your organization or one with which you are familiar. Outline strategies you would employ to sustain the innovation.
