What are some ways to implement portfolio assessment into your existing content area? Cite specific examples that you intend to try.

As an elementary teacher, I would like to implement portfolio assessment as an alternative tool assessment on my students in writing class. First, I will make sure that students own their portfolios by explaining it and expressing the importance of their personal ownership of the portfolios and the significance of their own evolution of the kinds of the work they put in their portfolios. Second, I will decide collaboratively with my students what goes in the portfolios in their writing class. Then, students will collect their work samples as they created and place them in folder box and put all portfolios in the shelves that I prepared for them. After that, I will work collaboratively with my students to select the best writing criteria that suitable to all students in which my students and me can judge the quality of their portfolio products in writing skills. Then, I will ask my students to evaluate their writing portfolios every week to see their progress and let them modify and improve their writing skills. After that, I will hold conferences every month with each student one-by-one and discuss the most concerned to the student and me and give them feedback to improve and enrich their knowledge and writing skills. Finally, I will involve all parents/ guardians by explaining to them the importance of portfolios and encourage them to review their children’s writing samples as well as their children’s self-evaluation.

Job-Safety-Analysis

part 1 :

Job Safety Analysis

Now that you have read the course material on jab safety analysis, you will create a JSA of your own based on a job (not a hazard) from a current or recent place of employment. At the top, label your sheet, “Job Safety Analysis for [name of job].” In one column on the left (A), write each step of the job from start to finish and number the job steps 1 – n. In the next column (B), list the hazards, if any, associated with each job step in column A. In Column C, listremedial measures including action needed, training, or PPE required to address and reduce the frequency/likelihood of the hazard. In Column D, which should be titled special considerations, note circumstances to note such as “infrequent task” or “special PPE needed” or “Refresher training necessary.”

part 2 :

Write a post describing one hazard at your current or recent place of employment (industry, manufacturing, construction all are ok ) created with multiple employers working in the same place at the same time. Then, respond to two of your classmates by listing at least three ways your employer might be liable under the MEWP. If you have not had personal experience with this type of hazard, you may write about a fictitious employer.

Part 3:

Select a training topic at your place of current or recent employment. Briefly describe the training and post it to the discussion board. Then, respond to two of your classmates by listing two reasons why the training was necessary. If you have not had personal experience with this type of training, you may write about a fictitious employer.

MKT325-1402B-01: Consumer Behavior Fundamentals

Part 1

Build a key outline based on the previous assignments and
information below Steps 1-3

Please stick with Toyota

How will you connect your message
with the customer market segment that you have been developing throughout the
last few weeks?

For this project, you will create 2
sales opportunities to use to reach out to your customers based on what you
know about your industry and product. You will use 2 direct marketing
techniques: an advertisement and a sales pitch.  Then add a
customer communications
section
.
The project is separated into 3 parts.

 Step 1-2

2500- 3100 words

First step:

This will be a digital
advertisement that creates an emotional appeal to reach your target segment of
customers, influencing them to buy your product. Include the following elements
in your ad:

  • A
    logo and/or slogan
  • A
    headline
  • At
least 200 words of body copy listing 2 features and 2 benefits of the
    product
  • A
    visual communication element
  • A
300-word summary of your creative intent

    • Remember
to include the target market’s demographics and psychographics and how
the creative ad connects with the selected customers.

Second
Step:

This will be an electronic sales
pitch or presentation of 300–500 words, including the following elements:

  • A
promotional element, such as a coupon; discount; or buy one, get one free
  • Explanation
of how you will influence your customer to buy the product
  • Explanation
of why you would use the ad that you just created in addition to the sales
    pitch to encourage a purchase

 Third
Step:

900- 1100 Words

The final part of your
plan will include a customer communications section. Draft and recommend one
customer communications strategy to include in the plan. Detail the following:

·
Decide how you will stay
in contact with customers with a customer communications strategy.

·
Add 1 communication
vehicle that you will use such as an e-zine, a blog, a social networking page
with updates, a newsletter, direct marketing campaigns, and so on.

·
Choose 1 communication
vehicle, and draft the communications message that you would deliver for the
first piece. For example, if you are writing a customer blog, a first message
could be about customer service and how it sets your company apart from the
competition.

·
Then, add this section
at the end of your final Key Assignment plan. Organize the sections; edit them
to the final draft of the plan.

Instructions

Choose and Read any 2 of the following (2 documents from the same collection are acceptable):

Write a 500 word essay citing the primary sources and Hine & Faragher at least 5 times. Cite at least two primary sources and Hine & Faragher. In your essay, think back to the readings from Hine & Faragher. The Primary Source essay is less formal than the Textbook Essay. You have some freedom with the Primary Source essay in that you may write in the first person if you would like. You may choose to write in a reflective manner as well. Think along these lines:

  • Where do the primary sources help you understand the Hine & Faragher text better?
  • How do the primary sources help you understand the people who wrote them?
  • How do the primary sources fit with what you understood of the History of this period before reading the sources?
  • Do they support what you have long thought regarding the period?
  • Do they challenge your views of the period?
  • Do they make you aware of things you had never heard of?
  • What surprises you in the primary sources?

Conversely, you may write in a scientific fashion, thinking along these lines:

  • Who are the authors?
  • What are the authors’ arguments?
  • What are the authors’ audiences?
  • Why did the authors produce the sources? What is going on in their worlds to prompt the sources’ production?
  • What were the primary sources’ effects on the world?
  • Why do the primary sources matter?
  • How do your primary sources bolster an argument in favor of one of your own theological, political, social, etc., theory
  • How do your primary sources support or refute Hine & Faragher.

Identify your chosen primary sources clearly so that I can find them. If they are from an outside source, be sure to include a link at the bottom of the essay.

Citations can be simple parenthetical citations. I simply need to be able to find what you are citing. For example:

  • (Hine & Faragher, 17)
  • (de las Casas, A Short Account, 2)
  • (Cortés, Letter)

If you are citing outside sources that I have not assigned, please provide a link at the bottom of the page, along with a title that matches the citation.

Always quote any words that are taken verbatim from Hine & Faragher or anyone else in order to prevent plagiarism. Citations go within the essay immediately after the sentence they support. Using the example from the Textbook Essay instructions, I might say:

  • The Civil War had a dramatic effect on the West in many ways, including an outward migration of African Americans from the South. (Hine & Faragher, 370-373) For example, Hine & Faragher describe “yet another mass exodus to the western promised land” in 1879 when free black Americans moved to western lands. (Hine & Faragher, 370-371)

Remember:

  • 500 words
  • Cite the primary sources and Hine & Faragher at least 5 times.
  • Cite at least 2 different primary sources, unless the instructions specifically state that one primary source will beenough.(This occasionally happens in lessons with longer primary sources.)
  • Identify your chosen primary sources clearly so that I can find them.

Managing Dynamic Environments Discussion

Read the following article:

In this interview, Kotter discusses the “sense of urgency” that is required of leaders when there is an economic recession. Reflect on the issues of complacency and urgency among businesses, as explained by Kotter. For this discussion, write a response to the following questions. Support your response with material from the required reading as well as at least one outside peer-reviewed journal article.

  1. How does a sense of urgency motivate employees?
  2. Does a sense of urgency with regard to implementing organizational change differ in times of recession, during natural disasters, or in the face of global competition?
  3. Is a sense of urgency in strategic planning the norm in business today? Explain.
  4. How do leaders motivate employees to remain inspired during an economic down turn?

Remember that critical thinking is not just your opinion; rather, it is a claim that provides evidence that helps you prove an argument. Therefore, you must support your statements with reliable outside sources.

Summary-and-Critique

I need summary and critique/opinion for two articles. my professor is very strict because she wants summary and critique like she gives us the instructions.

Moreover I have uploaded a sample of student who did the summary but its different article. She got full marks so please follow her structure.

For first article, I need to answer two questions from the article in sumary so please see them too in the zip file.
