Environmental Regulation

The discussion assignment for this week includes a review of the Key Assignment Outline completed by one of your classmates, as well as a substantial response to at least one other student.

In 500 + words with in text citations

Primary Task Response: Please watch Making global labor fair (https://www.ted.com/talks/auret_van_heerden_making_global_labor_fair). Share your considerations, concerns, and any ideas on how to potentially address some of the issues noted in the video. Note: many who view the video speak to the lack of ‘plausible solutions’…that is exactly where this discussion should focus. Take the considerations of what has been discussed during the course (and prior courses) and apply those ideas to the larger discussion posed by this video.

Write and develop an APA formatted 4 to 6-page paper that explains four exemplary leadership practices.

Write and develop an APA formatted 4 to 6-page paper that explains four exemplary leadership practices,. Identify the key elements of your plan to strengthen your practice of leadership. Use examples from your own experience, and use research along with in-text citations that provide a foundation of validity to your analysis.

Ensure that your in-text citations match your references, also you must have 10 peer reviewed references. Note that books are not peer reviewed so don’t cite books.

In addition to your report, please prepare a professional PowerPoint presentation summarizing your findings for The paper.. The presentation will consist of your major findings, analysis, and recommendations in a concise presentation of 15 slides (minimum)). An agenda, introduction ,,executive summary, and references slides should also be included, and this should not be part of your 15 slide. Also ensure that you have graphics as part of your slides. Also you must have 10 peer reviewed references for the slides, but you don’t necessarily have to do in text citation for slides unless you define something.Presentations should not exceed 18 minutes, so remember to use bullet point mostly in doing your slides.

Also the text book used for this course is The Leadership Challenge: How to make extraordinary things happen in organizations;

who can do my ePortfolio project ?, psychology homework help

these are the instructions >>>

ePortfolio
Directions (Using PowerPoint)

Purpose:Mountain
View College (and the DCCCD) are using an electronic portfolio system to
“make learning visible”. The purpose of the ePortfolio (using
PowerPoint) is for you to demonstrate visually that you are learning the course
outcomes. In other words, you are “showcasing” and “reflecting” on
your best work that relates to the course goals and what you are proudest of
this semester. For example, one of our learning outcomes is for you to develop
your critical thinking skills. Therefore, what assignment this semester
demonstrates your best “thinking”? It can be an assignment from any
recent class (not just Learning Framework). You would upload the work into your
“artifact” page of the ePortfolio. Then, next to the artifact, you’d
“reflect” on the work such as writing about the purpose of the
assignment and how completing this assignment helped you to develop your
critical thinking skills. The ePortfolio is a new concept for Mountain View
College, but the goal is for us to use it into the future as you continue next
semester and beyond. Remember: “Nothing is easier than to have the experience
and missing the meaning!” COFFIN. Let’s not forget the meaning of our college
experience!

Please start your project early as you don’t want to get behind. You will NOT
submit your progress week by week, but you will
submit the final ePortfolio on 12/4.
Also, be prepared to share your ePortfolio with the class in the eCampus Blog.
You will also present your ePortfolio to a small group in class during the last
week of the course (more on your presentations later). So get started on the
home page…

FYI—Remember to consider your audience…don’t cram everything into
one page. If you need more space, simply create another slide…. You want people
that view your ePortfolio to read it easily!

FYI—This is YOUR ePortfolio so ADD to it beyond these basic
requirements if you want. There are no limitations!

Slide #1

“Introduction” Page (s): This is where your ePortfolio opens—the
first view people will see. Briefly introduce yourself and include a picture or
symbol that relates to your life and/or career direction; and, state the
purpose of the portfolio. Remember to express yourself and show us who you
are!

The introduction has many basic elements: Name, where you were born, current
location (do not include your full address), your major/career
direction, personal mission statement, interesting famous quote, one or more interesting
facts about your life; and, state the purpose of the portfolio.

This is the homepage. You might put a page breakdown at some point in the
first slide.

*Use the mission statement that was developed in class!

Slide #2

“GOALS”: This page is all about your future. Goal-setting
puts you in the driver’s seat and lets you know both where you are going and
how to get there. Remember goals start with “I will….”

Organize this section into FIVE parts:

1) Long-term goals that relate to your college major, degree plan,
transfer school, grades, classes, etc.

2) Long-term goals that relate to your career direction.

3) Short-term goals that relate to your personal life for this
semester.

4) Include or add a link to your “Quality World” assignment.

*Use the SMART goal criteria in your work.

Slide #3

Link your Learning and Personality (essay #2) to this slide and give a short
description of what you are stating in the assignment. Include what you learned
about yourself and how you can use the information to create a more successful
“YOU”.

Slide #4

Link your Behavior Change Project essay and give a short synopsis of what
you worked to change, the process used for creating your new positive behaviors
and the overall results of your efforts

Slide #5

Upload picture (s) or something that represented your best thinking and
writing this semester. You can use an item from your work in class or an item
from another other class, then “reflect” on it and write a short synopsis of
your work.

For PowerPoint use “inset” and “object” and “Microsoft Word”.

Add one more “artifact” to your ePortfolio (you can use any other
assignment from this semester.)

Repeat same process as above for “reflection”.

ADD MORE ARTIFCATS (OPTIONAL) And there will be a sample uploaded as a power point file down there >>> the project has to be just like the sample but the difference its in my name and no need to add pictures as it is in the sample

Cooking as Inquiry

In this assignment, you will apply some techniques of the cooking as inquiry method by cooking one of your favorite recipes.Consider a recipe for a meal you enjoy. This could be a breakfast your grandmother cooked you when you were a child, a lunch you tried on a trip to another country, or a special holiday dinner.

Before cooking this recipe, begin this assignment by writing down the exact recipe and why you selected this recipe. What is the importance or significance of this recipe to you? Next, cook the recipe and eat the meal. After the foodmaking and eating process, return to this assignment.

Write about the cooking process, the ingredients you used, and how the recipe turned out on the plate. Then write about the eating process, what the meal tasted like, and whether or not you enjoyed the recipe. End your reflection by discussing any memoriesthat emerged during the cooking and eating process. Be sure that your finished reflection is drafted in a 400-500 word document.

nursing care plan for Mona Hernandez

  • Patient Introduction

Location: Medical Unit 1600Report from day shift nurse:Situation: Mrs. Hernandez is a 72-year-old Hispanic female who was admitted to the medical unit yesterday afternoon with a diagnosis of pneumonia in her right lobe. Chest X-ray shows infiltrates in right lower lobe, indicative of pneumonia. She was started on antibiotics after a sputum specimen for Gram stain culture was obtained. We are monitoring her respiratory status closely. Background: Mrs. Hernandez was experiencing symptoms of dry cough, fever, and malaise, and was diagnosed with influenza 10 days prior to admission. Her symptoms got progressively worse, and yesterday she had a temperature of 38.4 °C (101.2 °F), shaking, chills, and a productive cough of rust-colored sputum. Her primary care provider saw her yesterday and decided to admit her for treatment of pneumonia.Assessment: Mrs. Hernandez is alert and oriented ×3, but appears tired. She reports sharp chest pain with coughing and shortness of breath with activity. She rated the pain as a 6 on a scale of 0–10 and was given acetaminophen 650 mg at 1400. Vitals signs were taken at 1200. Her temperature has been elevated since this morning and was 38.1 °C (100.6 °F). Pulse is 104/min, respirations 24/min, and blood pressure 112/72 mm Hg. Her saturation was 95% on nasal cannula with oxygen at 3 L/min. Her respirations were labored when she came back from the bathroom, but improved when she settled back in bed.Recommendation: You should make sure to maintain saturation levels above 94%. Mrs. Hernandez needs encouragement to cough and deep breathe, and to use incentive spirometry. She only uses her incentive spirometer after much encouragement. You should also start patient education on disease process and management.

Interpretive Essay: Poetry, writing homework help

Please write a 2-3 page interpretive essay based on one of the following topics. Papers should be typed and double-spaced with 1 inch margins and size 12 font. Always support your answers with specific evidence from the poems. Use direct quotes where you feel they will support your argument.

For this essay, I have assigned topics according to subject. Using at least two poems, discuss what they have to say about one of the following subjects (race relations, parents and children, OR women’s relationships/women’s work). Use evidence from the poems including direct quotes, and compare and contrast the ways in which the poets express themselves on the issue. Be sure to include your interpretation of what each poem means (1-2 paragraphs for each) after an introduction that introduces the poems you have chosen and shows how they are connected (1 paragraph). Don’t forget to wrap up these connections you are making in a separate conclusion (1 paragraph). If you find other poems from our anthology that address these subjects, you are welcome to use them as well.

Subject #1: Race Relations

Langston Hughes, “Harlem” and “I, Too,” p. 689; Countee Cullen, “Yet Do I Marvel,” p. 670; Dudley Randall, “Ballad of Birmingham,” p. 640; Claude McKay, “The Harlem Dancer” and “The White House,” p. 698.

Subject #2: Parents and Children

Robert Hayden, “Those Winter Sundays,” p. 540; Seamus Heaney, “Digging,” p. 686; Theodore Roethke, “My Papa’s Waltz,” 552; Sylvia Plath, “Daddy,” 705; Linda Pastan, “To a Daughter Leaving Home” (503).

Subject #3: Women’s Relationships/Women’s Work

Sylvia Plath, “Daddy,” p. 705-707; Marge Piercy, “Barbie Doll,” 533; Dorothy Parker, “A Certain Lady,” p. 492; Rita Dove, “Daystar,” p. 502; Linda Pastan, “Marks,” p. 565.

Concept of Marketing

Review the important themes within the sub question of each bullet point. The sub questions are designed to get you thinking about some of the important issues. Your response should provide a succinct synthesis of the key themes in a way that articulates a clear point, position, or conclusion supported by research.

  • Market growth is accomplished by one or more of the following strategies: Market Penetration (increasing market share), Market Development (new markets), Product Development (new products or services), and Diversification (promoting new or expanding existing products to reach a new market). Remember, the diversification strategy stands apart from the other three strategies. The first three strategies are pursued with the same technical, financial, and merchandising resources used for the original product line, whereas diversification usually requires a company to acquire new skills, new techniques, and new facilities.
    • Assess each of these strategies and provide an example for each category.
    • Out of the four strategies, choose a strategy that best suits growth in a company of your choice and justify how you would use this strategy.

  • Support your answers with examples and research and cite your research using the APA format.

posting should be at least 1.5 single-spaced pages (700 to 800 words) in length. Be sure to cite your sources using APA format.

    Situational Reactions

    Situational Reactions

Read the following three situations.  Describe what you would do in the situation.  Integrate the elements of reasoning and/or intellectual standards in your writing to show a textbook understanding of the material behind your personal example.  Your work should be 500-600 words and integrate specifics into either the elements of reasoning, the intellectual standards or both.  Do not worry about your answers being right or wrong – you are going to be graded on your connection to the material – not the behavior you would engage in if it happened to you.

Choose 2 elements of thought and 2 intellectual standards and describe for each scenario.

Scenario A:  You are deployed in a country.  A raid went wrong, and your squad opened fire on several innocent people.  Your commander asks you and the rest of the squad to make it look like they opened fire up on you first.  How would you respond?

Scenario B: As a police officer, you pull someone over.  After searching their vehicle, you confiscate several ounces of marijuana.  The computer system is down so you cannot chronicle this bust.  Your partner tells you that his wife is sick and he could really use that marijuana at home for medicinal purposes to help her with her pain.  How would you respond to your partner?

Scenario C:  As a parent, your child has a first year teacher who gives ridiculously hard assignments.  Your kid has a four year scholarship waiting for him if he can pass this last course – even with a C.  The last assignment is an assignment that you did your graduate work on – so you know there’s no way a high schooler should be expected to do this assignment – but if your child fails this assignment, they would lose a four year scholarship.  Do you actively help them complete the assignment – or let them do it themselves – knowing they can’t do the assignment themselves and the assignment is likely to be poor because it was an inappropriately assigned paper.
