1. The Story of You (ME paper)

I am an international student. This paper should focus on your behaviours, attributes, skills and competencies. You have completed a number of assessments as part of your weekly coursework. The goal of this paper is to synthesize your assessments, and present the following parts, noted below. The expected length is approximately 5 pages (double spaced), if it were written out in narrative. Don’t merely list a number of points – explain and give examples. Make it compelling, possibly with a timeline and/or other illustrations.

Things to consider when writing your paper

1. Go over all of your personal self-assessments from the textbook and reflect on them.
2. Highlighting some of your personal Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT).
3. Add any details about your life that you believe contributed to your assessment scores. For example, how did your family, education, religion, etc. contribute to any of your assessment scores?
4. Articulating your personal self-concept and brand (from chaper 2) and relate this to A).
5. To conclude your paper, you will need to analyze and synthesize your findings. What do your findings tell you about yourself? What do you think that means? When writing this section it is important to remember that an analysis and synthesis are two distinct concepts, and should be written as such.

This assignment will be marked for depth of thought, analysis, synthesis and effort. Things to note,

1. You will need to incorporate all your self-assessments (minimum of 7).
2. You will need to integrate all of your assessments and the synthesis of them (conclusions) you draw from them.
3. The paper should be no less than 5 pages double spaced.
4. Please provide a list of all the self-assessments you used, and place the list in an appendix.

You are being given a printed copy of background and case study information on Ted Bundy. Please read through the materials provided and then respond to the following questions on a separate sheet of paper. After reading through the background information you are to choose FIVE of the behaviors from the Hare PCL Checklist and FIVE of the behaviors from the Cleckley’s Primary Psychopath Description list and provide examples of how Ted Bundy meets each of those criteria.

Provide at least 2 examples for each one of the four factors that shows how Ted Bundy meets these features of psychopathy. You should have a total of 8 answers when you are done. • Review the definitions of primary psychopaths, secondary psychopaths and dissocial psychopaths. Based on these definitions as well as your evaluation of Bundy in the previous two questions, identify which type of psychopath you believe Bundy to be and why? Again provide some evidence based on what you have learned about his case and what the requirements are for the type of psychopath you determine him to be. (This section is worth 15 points).
• Proper APA Format/Grammar (19 points)

For example (and you cannot use this specific one): According to Cleckley one of the characteristics of psychopaths is that they tend to be intelligent and Bundy graduated with a degree in psychology and attended Law School.

You also must choose ten total different characteristics. For example, do not choose pathological lying from the Hare scale and Untruthfulness from the Cleckley list and then use the same example for both. I want 10 different behaviors. (This section is worth 33 points).

EDU 221 Play Observation for Children with Special Needs

KEY ASSESSMENT

This assignment meets the following NAEYC Standards #3,4,& 5 and NAEYC Supportive Skills # 1,2, & 3.

Assignment Overview:

1. Students will select two young
children ages 3-8 years with identified disabilities in inclusive
programs. They will observe each child for 30 minutes. The observation
should take place on a playground with the other children, with and
without disabilities, are present. During the observation, the student
should be engaged only in the observation activity (not acting as a
teacher, working on another assignment, or interacting with the
children)

Students will complete a report consisting of three parts: the list of
observed activities, the Play Observation Form coding chart, and the
summary.

a. List of observed activities
(make a list for each child) During the 30 minute observation, note the
specific play activities observed. Indicate what the child is doing (“pouring sand from cup to cup”, not “playing in the sandbox” ). Number your observations. At the top of the list include:

Child’s name (first name only, or use a fictitious name)

Age of child

Date, day and time (beginning and end) of observation

Length of observation and recording intervals

b. Play Observation Form Coding Chart (one chart per child) Use the Play Observation Form to record the types and levels of play activities observed (attached).

equipment available, number and ages of other children present during
your observation.

Second, summarize the findings for each child, include:

Appropriateness of play behaviors

Recurring patterns of play

Unusual or unique patterns of play

Relationship between play environment and play activities

Incidents affecting child safety

Third, draw conclusions from the findings:

Compare the play activities of the two children studied, noting similarities and differences

Discuss how the expectations were met or confounded

• Describe the finding include specific recommendations for curriculum and promote positive outcomes for each child

Associate the findings with research and theory

Identify
additional explanations for the findings as needed, give specific
examples of observed activities to support the conclusions and cite
researchers if referring to research or theories.
