Essay see below

Writing Prompt: Create a 2-3 page, double-spaced rough draft of Short Essay 2. This will be a literary analysis ONE of the essays that we’ve already read (with the exception of “Hills Like White Elephants” or “The Story of an Hour.”) The links to the three essays you can choose from are below the essay instructions.

Objective: Find a theme that you feel runs through the essay you’ve chosen. Your entire essay will explain and exemplify that theme.

Structure the essay exactly like this:

Make a very creative title.

Introduction Paragraph: First, have a creative opening — use your imagination here. Grab the reader’s attention; illustrate the theme you’ve chosen in a creative way without explicitly mentioning what the theme is or the essay that it’s in. Do this for about 6 to 8 sentences. After that, as the last sentence in the introductory paragraph, create your thesis statement in this exact way: “XXX is a theme that runs through Name of Story by XXXX.”

1st Body Paragraph: Make your first sentence the topic sentence that explains where the theme first occurs in the essay. For the second sentence, find one direct quote from the essay (with an MLA in-text citation after it) that exemplifies your topic sentence. Offer a few sentences of your own explanation of how that theme is illustrated by that quote. Then, include one other author’s interpretation of your theme from Bloom’s Literary Database, which is the same database you used for your Research Essay. Include only one direct quote from that author (with an MLA in-text citation after it), and then offer a few sentences of your own interpretation of that quote and how it parallels your own viewpoint.

2nd body paragraph: Do the same as in your first body paragraph. Create a topic sentence that explains the other place that your theme occurs in the essay. For the second sentence, find one direct quote from the essay that illustrates the second time your ‘theme’ occurs. Put in an MLA in-text citation after that quote, and then offer a few sentences of your own interpretation of how that quote exemplifies the theme. After you do that, find another author’s interpretation of your theme from Bloom’s Literary Database. Include only one direct quote from that author (with an MLA in-text citation after it), and then explain in your own words your interpretation of that quote and how it parallels your own viewpoint.

Then, have a conclusion paragraph that summarizes everything.

Finally, have a separate Works Cited page with your three sources alphabetically listed and correctly formatted: Source #1: the essay itself. Sources #2 and #3: two authors’ interpretations from Blooms Literary Database.

*******************************************************************************

Before submitting, also check for the following:

Each BODY PARAGRAPH should have between 12 to 16 sentences in it.

Total # of paragraphs in this essay: 4

Total # of pages: between 2 and 3, not including the Works Cited page

I am keeping this very simple because I want it to be clear and accurately written.

Due Week 5 and worth 80 points

Effective communication skills are essential in the workplace. Some
businesses invest in training their employees on how to effectively
communicate, because effective communication skills go beyond
conversations. Employees must know how to express business issues
effectively when writing reports and emails. Understanding the benefits
of effective communication helps businesses to develop a workforce that
is able to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and
suppliers and increase productivity.

Write a one to two (1-2) page paper in which you:

  1. Describe a time when you experienced effective communication in a business environment.
  2. Discuss at least three (3) reasons why you perceived the
communication to be effective, and explain the resulting impact to the
    business.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

  • Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with
one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA
or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional
    instructions.
  • Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the
student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date.
The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required
    assignment page length.

The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:

  • Explain the elements that foster effective communication in business.
  • Use technology and information resources to research issues in business.
  • Write clearly and concisely about business issues using proper writing mechanics.

Week 10 Final Paper

Attached is the first draft and the template to follow for paper

Also here is the feedback I received on paper

“Good start! Be careful with your in-text citations, follow the outline and use MLA report-style formatting. You need some specific goals for the campaign (even if you are just creating them for your paper) that are specific, measurable, achievement-oriented, realistic and time-bound (SMART). You also might try organizing your ideas for the consumer pathway in a timeline format.”

Paper Requirements

Campaign Research: Describe your campaign. The framework of this section of your paper should follow the stages of the consumer pathway, and incorporate all of the feedback given by your instructor in the weekly blog check-ins. Follow the project outline and rubric for formatting. Reference images or campaign samples by inserting (see Appendix) in the body of the text, and include those visuals in an appendix, after the works cited section.

CCP analysis: This important section of your paper is the analysis – critique the campaign’s Central Communication Platform as you did for the Discussion forum assignment. Be sure to also include campaign metrics – the evaluation language from Chapter 12.

Recommendations: This critique section should flow into a list of recommendations for the brand.

Completed papers should be 10+ pages: 7-8 pages of written content, 1 title page, 1 page for your Works Cited, and 1-2 pages for the appendix of your campaign visuals/examples.

Watch Movie and write a Response essay

How does the film make use of visual storytelling through mise en scene and cinematography to reinforce or subvert the narrative? What message or theme do you take away from the film due to this? I am more concerned with your overall argument and the analysis that you use to support it than structural elements (grammar and organization do still count though). Write for an audience who has seen the film. There is no need for summary. Cite examples including specific shots and visuals as well as direct quotes of dialogue to highlight what you find interesting about the film. Look over the textbook or the slideshows to get an idea for some of the terms you can use to describe the things you are seeing. Feel free to use comparisons to other films and incorporate external information, sources such as filmmaker interviews or critical analysis, but be sure to cite them in text if you do.
