Complete Capstone MSA Discussion, sociology homework help

•PLEASE ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS BELOW IN THE DISCUSSION POST, AND CITE ANY REFERENCE USED.

MY RESEARCH TOPIC IS: Evaluating the effectiveness of the Feed the Future (FTF) Initiative and other global food security programs.

Discuss what you have learned about good versus poor research topics. What does it mean that the topic be administrative in nature? Why is it important that the topic be specific rather than broad and general?

• Is this a good research topic: characteristics of effective leaders? Why or why not?

• How about this one: Why do so many of the employees at XYZ Company arrive late and what can XYZ do to improve punctuality? Explain your thoughts.

• Review the Research Proposal Template (attached below). After reviewing the Template discuss how you think it helps you and the other students in terms of progressing through the research process. What would be the disadvantage of having to write a research proposal without using or having the template?

• After discussing the preceding issues, post one-to-three ideas for your individual research topic that you will work on this semester:

o Provide enough detail to educate the instructor on your administrative research topic. Be sure that the topic is not too broad based on what you learned in the lecture. Focus on a real problem that needs to be analyzed and fixed or an opportunity that is sufficiently focused that you can analyze it by reviewing literature and collecting data.

o Provide both a primary issue/question and sub-questions similar to how we did the Common Research Activity in Week 1

o Identify the specific audience that will benefit from this research such as your employer’s senior leadership. That audience must be specific and in a position to take action.

o Explain how your proposed topic(s) relates to your MSA Concentration.• Comment on posts by at least two other students.

2 page SLP TIME MANAGEMENT ESSAY

Review Chapter 2: Time Management, from Thriving at Trident University, including Dr. Aaron Thompson’s reflections:

I started the process of earning my doctorate a little later in life than other students. I was a married father with a preschool daughter (Sara). Since my wife left for work early in the morning, it was always my duty to get up and get Sara’s day going in the right direction. In addition, I had to do the same for myself. Three days of my week were spent on campus in class or in the library. (We didn’t have quick access to research on home computers then as you do now.) The other two days of the workweek and the weekend were spent on household chores, family time, and studying.
I knew that if I was to have any chance of finishing my Ph.D. in a reasonable amount of time, I had to adopt an effective schedule for managing my time. Each day of the week, I held to a strict routine. I got up in the morning, ate breakfast while reading the paper, got Sara ready for school, and got her to school. Once I returned home, I put a load of laundry in the washer, studied, wrote, and spent time concentrating on what I needed to do to be successful from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every day. At lunch, I had a pastrami and cheese sandwich and a soft drink while rewarding myself by watching Perry Mason reruns until 1:00 p.m. I then continued to study until it was time to pick up Sara from school. Each night, I spent time with my wife and daughter and then prepared for the next day. I lived a life that had a preset schedule. By following that schedule, I was able to successfully complete my doctorate in a reasonable amount of time while giving my family the time they needed. (By the way, I still watch Perry Mason reruns.)

Case Assignment

Write a 2- to 3-page reflection paper on your Time Management skills and how you can go about improving them. Use at least three tips from Chapter 2, Thriving at Trident, and additional information from the video to shape your response.

APA (American Psychological Association) writing style will be used throughout your tenure at Trident. It is important to provide scholarly work and support your opinion with research. While this is NOT required in this course, it is encouraged as you prepare for future courses. The following resources are provided for your use and convenience:

annotated bibliography pathophysiology

Please choose a pathophysiology topic that interests you. Find sources and review the current literature on this topic. Find a total 15 sources that are relevant to your topic. All sources should be from peer-reviewed journals. Important Note: Only the next five sources are due with this submission.

Use the following guiding questions to help your search:

  • How significant is this medical condition?
  • What causes this condition?
  • What is this medical condition linked to (genetic, behavior, or environment)?
  • Who is more affected by this medical issue?

The annotated bibliography should be prepared using APA (American Psychological Association) format and include a brief summary paragraph about each source below its entry. A copy of the article should be uploaded to Canvas with the assignment. If a copy is not uploaded, no credit will be given for the Annotated Bibliography associated with that article.

GIS Written Assignment 6

Please answer the questions below

Each question should be two pages and have an introduction paragraph.

APA format

1.What will a potential shift of the economic center of gravity from the traditional G-8 countries—Canada, United States, Japan, Germany, UK, France, Italy, and Russia (currently suspended over its annexation of the Crimea)—to the BRICS countries mean? Does it signal hope for a new wave of economic growth and new engines of regional prosperity to drive the global economy, or does it signal the fading importance of Europe and the United States? Will the rise of the BRICS countries signal the rise of middle classes within those countries or a further expansion of inequity in income distribution? How can governance challenges in each of the BRICS countries derail their economic growth? Resource challenges? Demography and population? The threat of conflict?

Please note: Originally, in 2001, this group of emerging economies was known as BRIC when it consisted of only four nations: Brazil, Russia, India, and China. In 2010 South Africa was inducted, changing the acronym to BRICS.

2.In recent years the EU has experienced both growth and turmoil, especially with the exit of Great Britain (expected to be completed before 2020). What pressures do you think the EU is facing and will be facing in the next few years? What sort of competition will the EU face with other trading blocs like the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and the Southem African Development Community (SADC)?

Case Study Analysis and reflection

Case Study Analysis Papers: Over the semester, we will discuss a variety of examples for the concepts we are talking about. During the semester, you must write two analyses and reflections of an application of the concepts from journalism, marketing, or entertainment in these examples. Thus, for each case study, you are essentially analyzing how that example illustrates that you are learning in class. Each paper should analyze a different case study.

Analyze each case study (either one you are aware of or from the list provided) to answer the following questions:

a) what was done and by whom
b) what digital communication technology(s) was used and how (at least 3)
c) what was the effect of the use
d) how what was done relates to what we have discussed in class.

You cannot write about any of the case studies we analyze together in class. You should have at least one illustration to clarify the case studies: illustrations can be visual, audio, and/or video. Each paper should be 750-1000 words long. You must cite course material to explain your analysis. Use APA or MLA style for in-text citations and the reference list.

You can find ideas for case studies here. Here is the PowerPoint with my example of an analysis of the television series Heroes: attached

When writing your papers, keep the following rules in mind:

  • Use concrete rather than vague language.
  • Use active voice whenever possible.
  • Avoid overusing there is, there are, it is, it was, etc.
  • Don’t use two negatives to make a positive without good reason.
  • Use consistent grammatical form when offering several ideas.
  • Word order can make or ruin a sentence. If you start a sentence with an incomplete phrase or clause, it must be followed closely by the person or thing it describes.
  • Place descriptive words and phrases as close as is practical to the words they modify.
  • Avoid sentence fragments.

7001.1.2 : Leadership through Influence: Influencing the Transformation of Health Care

The graduate uses principles of self-knowledge, active listening, authentic leadership, and mentoring in transforming and creating a healing environment.

INTRODUCTION

For this assessment, you will navigate areas of focus that include professional presence, mindfulness practice, and healing environments. These areas of focus will help you to create a professional presence plan that has both personal and professional application. You will be analyzing your inner world (thoughts, beliefs, and values) and your outer world (activities, relationships, and experiences). Each section of this assessment will gauge how you use and interact with those two worlds. To aid you in understanding your inner and outer worlds, you will take the Jung Personality Test, an online personality test. With the test’s results, you will better understand your strengths and weaknesses and how you can be an effective individual and leader. Authentic leadership requires as much care and understanding for yourself as for those you will serve and lead. Your professional presence plan will integrate your insights, goals, and beliefs into a coherent whole.

An originality report is provided when you submit your task that can be used as a guide.

You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.

Professional Communications is a required aspect to pass this task. Completion of a spell check and grammar check prior to submitting your final work is strongly recommended.
