It will be critical to identify the key contributing factors, which are often numerous and intertwined. In developing solutions, you must give due consideration to possible second- and third-order effects. Where possible, you are encouraged to examine a local healthcare organization; this may include interviewing organizational leaders and managers, examining issues and challenges, and analyzing data, for example.

Issue 2: The ER staff feel like they are “pushing” admissions to the intensive care and medical-surgical units, and that nursing staff in these units is reluctant to accept new patients. The ICU and MS nurses counter that they “pull” admissions in when they can, except during times when census is high and staffing is tight.

Directions: For this week’s assignment, you will create a graphic visual of the data you collected from the questionnaires you disbursed in Week 6. You need to take the data you collected and transfer it into an appropriate visual for your reader (e.g., bar chart, pie chart, table, graph, etc.). The visual should clarify your data and make it easy for the reader to understand your findings. All parts should be labeled clearly. Include a brief paragraph accompanying your graphic image that discusses the data and explains why you chose the visual design to convey your data.

Please use the Purdue OWL APA source to guide you as you develop your graphics.

Tip: Remember that you need to integrate your primary data/results into your final paper proposal. Develop a graphic visual that you will be able to easily include in your final paper and professional oral presentation.

Denial and deception are attempts by those you are collecting intelligence against to either prevent collection or to provide signals that are are misleading and deceptive.

This topic is worthy of a full course, but we must introduce this topic here in Intelligence collection. Read Deception.pdf for this discussion forum.

The question for this week is two-fold for collectors:

1) How can you tell whether your collection is being targeted for disinformation or deception? Research and include real-life examples!

–AND–

2) What measures as a collector can you take to reduce the effects of that disinformation/deception?

Along the margins of your textbook in this week’s readings are quotes from the
following prominent early childhood theorists: Froebel, Dewey, Montessori,
Erikson, Piaget, Vygotsky, Gardner, Rogers, Pikler, Gonzalez-Mena, and Bowman
and Moore.  Choose one of these quotes or one you find on your own from
one of these theorists.  Use it as the starting point for an analysis of
your chosen theorist and his or her relationship to curriculum programs such as
High Scope or Creative Curriculum.  In a two- to three-page paper (plus
title and reference pages) include the following:

1. Your chosen quote and a summary of the philosophy of
   your chosen theorist.
2. A well-researched summary of High Scope, Creative
   Curriculum, or another comprehensive early childhood curriculum about
   which you are familiar.
3. An analysis of how your curriculum does or does not
   exemplify the tenets of your chosen theorist’s philosophy
