Each of you is to develop a communications brief for the senior executive you have chosen providing them with guidelines as to how to respond to this crisis, along with specific instructions of what to do and not do. The communication’s brief should be specific to the individual’s function. While you can include some general recommendations that would apply to all of the senior leadership, this particular brief is to anticipate and address the possible challenges this particular executive might face in this crisis. Include instructions for both internal and external communications. Please assume that this executive is not to be made aware of the communications’ team scenario planning (above), but that he/she would have to be in a position to respond to either scenario should they come about.

Early user interfaces were designed with little or no consideration for the end user. This was largely due to technical and hardware limitations. The poor interface design required a specific skill set for users and limited the mass appeal of computers. Modern interfaces are much more user friendly. Theo Mandel wrote about the five (5) golden rules of interface design. Read Mandel’s article located at http://www.theomandel.com/docs/Mandel-GoldenRules.pdf.

Write a four to five (4-5) page paper in which you:

  1. Describe three (3) interfaces you interact with on a daily basis.
  2. Analyze each interface you identified in Question one (1) and assess how it adheres to Mandel’s five (5) golden rules.
  3. Suggest two (2) changes for each interface to achieve a more user-friendly design and justify your suggestion.
  4. Provide three (3) screen shots for each interface. Note: These screen shots should be labeled and appear in the appendix of the case study. These pages are not included in the page requirement for the assignment.
  5. Use at least three (3) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

Demographics and Target Market Definition: Define the target market and make a profile of the customers of the company. The target market definition of a company begins with segmentation. If the market is segmented then elaborate the basis for segmentation and define each segment and its characteristics. If the company does not have segmented markets then investigate and determine if segmentation is possible.(My professor said main target is premium segment so please focus more about it than another segment)

Seeking Journal with questions provided. They are based out of 4 ads that I will post. I will put comparison template, so you can review and answer the questions. I will also provide a sample of how the journal must be.

Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed and will be graded using the rubric at the end of this document:

I. Explain why you chose these advertisements for social scientific and personal study. For instance, what aspects of them intrigued you and made you curious?

II. Explain the assumptions and observations about human interactions and behaviors you made about the advertisements. These are some questions you might want to consider in your explanation:

a. Who do you believe the audiences for the ads might be?

b. What messages do you think the ads are sending?

c. What do you think the nature of the relationship is between or among the people in theads?

d. What relationship(s) do you see between or among the people and the product or service being advertised?

e. How effective are the ads in influencing your own consumer decisions?

III. Identify topics in this course that are relevant to the human behaviors in your advertisements and explain how they are relevant. This is your social science evidence for your observations. For instance, what ideas and people have you studied so far that apply to your observations?

IV. Taking all of your observations and objective conclusions about human behavior in your advertisements into account, assume the role of a social scientist. What question would you ask about the advertisements that you, as a social scientist, could seek to answer? What observations and objective conclusions lead you to this question?

Respond to discussion agreeing or asking a probing question

Unit practice committee (UPC) is a group I participate in at work. A UPC is seen in a professional setting such as a hospital, comprising of professionals of a certain job description such as nursing (The University of Iowa, 2017). The committee for the medical-surgical nursing meets once a month to addresses issues that are related to clinical practice in medical-surgical nursing by utilizing and developing different practices or troubleshoot current practices that need to be revised.

Stages of Group Formation

There are four stages of group formation namely; forming, storming, norming, and performing. During the forming stage, the group is developed and the members meet each other (Marquis & Huston, 2015). The next stage is storming, and in this stage the group members’ identities become known, there is an increased level of comfort amongst members, and disagreements sometimes occurs (Marquis & Huston, 2015). At this stage, failure of the group can occur due to conflicts that may arise (Mind Tools, 2012). The norming stage is when the group has agreed on a plan of action and ground rules established (Marquis & Huston, 2015). Performing is the final stage where the goal of the group is achieved (Mind Tools, 2012). The unit practice committee has been in existence for a long time, therefore, the members who attend would be at any stage of the group formation depending on their frequency of attending, duration of membership, and their participation in their attendance. This committee is open to all discussions, moderates and responds to clinical discussions by medical-surgical nurses, specifically trying to expand the awareness and utilization of evidence-based practice (EBP), research, and performance. Most of the individuals are in the norming and performing stages. This committee cooperates to settle differences and express any problem for a solution at every meeting (Marquis & Huston, 2015).

Personal Task/Group Building Role

My task in the committee is a procedural technician. I to facilitate group action by arranging the environment for change (Marquis & Huston, 2015). I communicate in writing the discussed ideas with the department managers and administration. I usually employ the use of our department educator at our meeting to further educate and inquire about what will help us get the changes that the department need while still abiding by the current practice guidelines. The department educator is the information seeker, she asks for clarification of suggestions made in terms of their factual adequacy (Marquis & Huston, 2015)

Strategies for Facilitation

As a leader, to better facilitate the group process, I would have an open door policy to show them that the purpose of the meeting is to better our practices as well as provide a more efficient workflow for all staff in the department. Having an open door policy will enable me to obtain the ideas of all staff involved in the committee. The world of healthcare is becoming increasingly complex, therefore, it is absolutely required of nurses to work collaboratively on interprofessional teams

Env paper revision

this is the topic, I have written the paper but the one policy about the cod I would like to be revised to either the clean air act or clean water act.

Prompt #1: Scales of environmental policy

Environmental policy can be constructed at different “levels” or “scales,” including the local, state, federal, and international. Logical reasons exist for why we might want to address a given policy problem at one scale or another, but particular historical and political situations play an important role in how policy processes actually play out.

Choose at least 2 examples in which policy could have been pursued at more than one scale. For each example, consider the following questions:

  • Why did policy proceed in the way that it did?
  • What has the scale at which it proceeded meant for the character and outcome of the policy?

Make a clear argument in your essay about scale and environmental policy, supported by the analysis of the examples you choose.
