You are the director of compensation for a midsized organization. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation that justifies the implementation of a new compensation strategy that will support the motivational needs of knowledge workers and reinforce the real-time performance appraisal system that the organization has embraced. While your goal is to retain, motivate, and grow the current workforce of multi-generational knowledge workers, you must also justify to your senior management that this compensation strategy is competitive in the marketplace.

Your presentation should describe a compensation program for knowledge workers. The title of the knowledge worker’s position is entirely up to you (e.g., sales executive I, systems engineer III, etc.). You may use various sources (including the lesson materials), but you must use at least one additional resource from the Online Library. Include a reference slide, and cite any sources used in proper APA format. Your presentation should be a minimum of 12 slides in length—not counting the title and reference slides. You may also use the slide notes function to explain slide contents as necessary, but this is not required.

Be sure to address ALL the questions below in your presentation.

  • What is the compensation strategy being proposed?
  • Did employees provide input?
  • Who else provided input?
  • What incentives are included in the plan? How will it motivate the employees?
  • How will employees determine fairness of the pay structure?

Presbycusis is a condition affecting the hearing of many adults. There are a variety of causes, including damage to structures of the middle and inner ear. The result is loss of hearing—not complete deafness, but difficulty in detecting certain sounds within the normal range of hearing. Use each numbered item as a required subheading in your paper. Students should preview the grading rubric before beginning the assignment.

1. explain how normal hearing occurs. Include in your discussion the following points:

o How is sound transmitted from the environment outside the body to the inner ear? What structures are involved, and how do they transmit sound?

o What happens in the inner ear (cochlea) when sound waves are converted to neural signals? How is sound frequency (pitch) processed?

2. Next, summarize the causes of presbycusis and explain how they will interfere with the normal processing of sound as outlined above.

o Discuss one source of presbycusis involving a problem with the outer/middle ear.

o Discuss one source of presbycusis involving a problem with the inner ear.

3. Finally, describe what it might be like to have presbycusis. Include the following points:

o If you have normal hearing now, how would your ability to converse with others be affected?

o What activities that you now enjoy would be limited by this condition?

o How would such a condition affect your work life?

The paper should include:

· Be a minimum of 3.5 and a maximum of 4.5 full pages, size 12 font Times New Roman, double spaced with 1 inch margins, NOT including the Title and References pages.

The matter of divorce is becoming a lifestyle in the current generation. This has brought together scholarly experts and parents to extensively research on effects divorce on children of any age. The research aims to establish the consequences of divorce to the life of the children.

Introduction

The study focus on impacts of divorce and more high numbers in our society. Divorce has turned into a significant psychological concern for children growth and development. Experts and parents are becoming more intrigued by the impacts of divorce on children below the age of 10. It is unquestionably realized that divorce is an extremely stressful period for children, teenagers, and adolescents, and this causes tension, misery and outrage amid and after their encountering their parents’ divorce (Hughes, 1992). The negative effect of divorce on psychological well-being worked directly through higher emotional issues and lower levels of school accomplishment and family financial problems.

Parents should be mindful when deciding to divorce since they cause severe suffering to them; the study has shown divorce affect mental and emotional disorders later in life. These youngsters are engage in sexual activity earlier, drug/substance abuse, commit crimes as well as committing suicide. Besides, they will end up confronting issues in their future spouses because of a lack of mentors.
