The assignment allows you to provide/understand a clear picture of individual consumer behavior.

• For this project, each student is to document, describe, and analyze a purchase must of a sports-related product or service.
• An appropriate submission includes scholarly-supported discussion of the following: (a) the chosen purchase; (b) where, when, and why the purchase occurred; and (c) the student’s thoughts and beliefs during the pre-purchase, purchase, and post-purchase decision phases.
• You may want to follow/reflect upon consumer decision making theories discussed in class.

Final Paper

Select and then define a significant issue faced by the justice system, describe the scope and consequences of the issue, and discuss society’s responses to the issue (including public policies and other less formal responses). Papers should also present a clearly reasoned alternative, supported by scholarly research.

While the following example can be modified to suit your needs, this outline is likely to result in a high-quality Final Paper:

In short, define a problem, discuss the response, and provide alternative responses to the problem. For example, your problem could be drug use/abuse, with a focus on prescription drug abuse among teenagers. Your description of the problems should be fact based, relying on expert opinion. Your alternative response can be an adjustment of current policy or a new direction. For example, your may propose longer prison sentences, or legalization of all drugs. Be creative, although suggestions must be supported by scholarly research.

The paper must be eight to ten pages in length (excluding the title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must use at least five scholarly resources, at least three of which can be found in the Ashford Online Library, to support your claims and subclaims. Writing the Final Paper
The Final Paper:

In this assignment you will review a case that deals with a client who has GERD.

Clinical Case:

Mrs. G. is a 45-year-old female arrives at the emergency department
where you are working with complaints of burning pain in her chest and
throat and a sour taste in her mouth. She states this pain has been
going on for years after she eats certain foods. She has a large,
extended family and does all of the cooking. She is Hispanic and likes
to cook her special recipes because she believes that “these foods are
good for herself and her family.” She is very proud of her cooking and
believes that is one of her main contributions to her family. She has
never been sick and does not like to take pills.

She is examined by the emergency room doctor and diagnosed with
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). The doctor has ordered
medication for you to administer. These medications include a proton
pump inhibitor (Prilosec), and a Histamine 2 blocker (Pepcid). He also
prescribes the proton pump inhibitor to be taken at home for the next
two weeks. Mrs. G. starts to feel better and is ready for discharge.
You will be providing the client teaching and discharge instructions
about GERD.

In your discussion about GERD include:

• Dietary suggestions you would make
• What foods and liquids she should avoid
• What changes she should make
• Barriers she will face in making these changes and how they can be overcome

Part A: Physician Behaviors

Congratulations, you did such a terrific job in this course that your local hospital has hired you to create a full-day continuing education course for area physicians. Review the sites. Find a legal topic relative to healthcare that interests you. Clearly reference the statute or issue that you are addressing. Post a paper detailing the issue. In your final paragraph, tell us how the issue could affect your current or future employment.

Suggestions:

• You could find three or four cases dealing with the same legal topic or issue. Summarize the cases in your own words. Do not copy and paste the cases into your paper. Then compare-and-contrast them.
• You could describe and discuss a legal procedural issue, explaining how the agency handles certain matters.
