career planing

i NEED good reply to at one of my classmate’s responses.

good develop paragraph. In positive way.

Introduction: Hi friends! If the posting credentials didn’t fully give away my identity, my name’s Adam Ginsburg. I’m in the homestretch of a full time course load as I’ll be taking a few classes over the summer before transitioning over to practicum in that July/August/September time frame. Here’s me, gazing off into the horizon for no particular reason, depending on who you ask.

2.) Career Counseling: In an honest moment, I can really relate to many of the perspectives the students brought forth though Chandra’s resonated particularly deeply within me from a personal standpoint. Having worked immeasurably dissatisfying jobs previously and understanding how hollow they can leave you along with the impact of permeating into other facets of life, a job really is never simply a job as it can be incredibly transcendent day to day.

3.) Work and Worth: Absolutely have. The text touched upon it where it discussed that commonplace question and significant placed upon, “What do you do?” The very fabric of that question places such an emphasis upon our achievement and vocation in a sense that it has the potential to greatly minimize who we are, thus the identity we forge of ourselves is oftentimes linked to the work we do. Societally, as the text discussed, there are certain vocations that are propped up high such as lawyers, doctors, CEO’s, etc. while others are looked down upon such as retail workers so the link between what we do and who we are is often challenging to separate. I’ve seen my parents and grandparents cranking out 60-70 hour work weeks and running themselves into a fine dust because they become so burnt out trying to achieve more and more, striving for so much which can be taken away so easily.

4.) Future Trends: I think we’ve already seen it to a great degree but the movement towards more of a values based assessment has and will continue to become a paramount talking point as many ponder different avenues to travel down. More and more organizations are transitioning and fully embracing the work/life balance model providing increased flexibility and perks to employees, which has cast out the dated notion that work itself operates on an independent plane from everything else in life as it’s merely a component, a vital one, but still a component for many of us. Oftentimes in the deliberation process of pursuing a new opportunity, values emerge a ton now where there’s the overarching concern of how the new opportunity will impact our time, our headspace, our commitment to our families & relationships and so on. Simon Sinek wrote a book titled, “Start With Why” which speaks to the significance of values for employers and employees and the fusion of said values with achieving organizational objectives. The workplace is less about making copious amounts of money hand over fist, though that’s still a significant aspect, but more so that emphasis upon working somewhere that embodies the belief system and values we carry as individuals has become significantly impactful in the process as well.

5.) Future Clientele: Post licensure, I can see myself working in the spiritual counseling realm along with health psychology.

6.) Benefit of Career Counseling: Different facets at play here between spiritual counseling and health psychology but career counseling certainly could play a prevalent role in each. With spiritual counseling, that emphasis upon using career counseling principles and interventions as a means to help people find that passion that lights them up like a pinball machine could be huge along with that emphasis on stepping beyond the oftentimes limiting perspective of our own desires and looking to the needs of others. Essentially, using career counseling methodology as a means to bridge that gap between our passions and stewarding them to invest in building up others could be significant. Couple that with the concept of stepping into things that are greater than ourselves and being of service to others by what we do from a vocational standpoint could also play a role. With health psychology, it’s a bit of a different twist as the overall aim is to understand how the mental plays a role in the physical, so to speak. Perhaps clients are coming in with physical manifestations of psychological challenges from a stressful work environment, a position that seemingly lacks fulfillment, or even the stress and anxiety that accompanies being a parent and being unemployed. Overall, career counseling isn’t much different than any other form of counseling as it’s making an intentional investment in the person sitting across from you and walking with them through the midst of challenges they experience, only these being of a vocational sense.

Ebay Case Analysis

Case Analysis

eBay is one of the biggest online auctioning companies in the world. Buyers and sellers of all types are able to hop online,
put up something for sale, and sell it! Basically, the way it works is that you find something you want to bid on, place a bid
on it, and wait to see if your bid wins. If it does, you send your information to the seller, and in return, he or she sends you
your goods.

Is an eBay auction a legally-binding contract? In a minimum of 500 words, consider whether a bid placed in an online
auction on eBay is legally binding and, therefore, enforceable. Explain your reasoning using the elements of contract
analysis that you have learned thus far, including valid offer, valid acceptance, and the various forms of consideration.

Cite any direct quotes or paraphrased material from outside sources. Use APA format.

Subheading #1: provide an analysis of the current market in which the company operates, new market opportunities, new product opportunities, and how the industry as it exists currently will support such initiatives.

Subheading #2: Target Market – Subheading #1 should help refine and define this market. A market-product grid may be useful to include to visualize (see Chapter 9).

Subheading #3: Points of Difference: What makes the product(s) unique, and why would the markets identified in Subheadings 1 and 2 would be attracted to, and attractive for the product?

Provide management’s estimate of the company’s market share and associated industry rank for both the last three years (actual) and the next three years (projected).

What has been the growth and profitability history of the industry, the company specifically, and what are its future prospects? If the projected growth rate exceeds the historical growth rate, discuss the major factors behind the company’s assumptions (e.g., technological breakthroughs, lower production costs that can be passed on to customers, value chain benefits/competencies, etc.)

IX. Implementation Plan – how will the company turn its plan into action (10 points)

This section includes setting timeframes for the plan presented thus far, and the area responsible for its successful deployment.

Course Project – Team Building

Now that you have your strategic plan in place, it’s time to assemble your team to help you to execute your plan.

For your project this week you will need to do the following:

  • In a minimum of 2 pages, prepare an essay explaining the types of teams that Rasmussen Consulting will need in order to carry out the steps that you mapped out in your strategic plan.
  • What will be the role of the team members?
  • Why are these particular teams important for Rasmussen Consulting to properly execute the solution to MovieFlix’s problem?
  • Make sure to include an APA formatted title page and reference page for sources that you may have used for your research. Remember to follow APA guidelines when paraphrasing or quoting information. Don’t forget to cite your sources and include in-text citations as necessary.

I am attaching last week’s SWOT analysis to help with this, the problem we are addressing for Movieflix is Marketing and Customer Loyalty – challenge to market to potential customers effectively and retain existing customers. We have been comparing netflix and amazon digital streaming as competitors, how we can keep customers and them not want to switch to them, and also pull in new customers. But now we are forming two types of teams that will help us achieve those goals and avoid the weaknesses and threats.

How many units of each type of toys should be stocked in order to maximize his monthly total profit?

Toys R’ Us sells two types of toys, Barbie house (toy A) and Dizzie’s condo (toy B). The store owner pays $10 and $12 for each one unit of toy A and B respectively. One unit of toys A yields a profit of $5 while a unit of toys B yields a profit of $6. The store owner estimates that no more than 2000 toys will be sold every month and he does not plan to invest more than $20,000 in inventory of these toys. How many units of each type of toys should be stocked in order to maximize his monthly total profit?

Answer the following:

  1. What is the objective function?
  2. Is this a minimization or maximization problem?
  3. Identify the constraints?
  4. Is this a non-negativity constraint model?
  5. Graph the problem and identify the regions that hold the feasible region. You can do this by hand or use excel or POM-QM.
  6. What are the vertices of the scenario?
  7. What is the most optimal solution?
  8. What is the optimal value?
  9. Provide all resources used when computing this work. Include all drawings and sketches if any, by hand.

Outcome 2 – Pay Structure

Students will support their understanding of pay-structure design by creating three complete job descriptions that include pay structures: one for incentive pay, one for traditional pay, and one for person-focused pay. These can be developed for an organization the student is familiar with or a fictitious organization. Each description will be no more than two pages in length, double-spaced, and presented in a business-oriented document. For each, include a job title, a description of the organization, a brief summary of the job, a bullet-point list of essential job tasks, a brief description of the context of the job, a bullet-point list of key knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position, and pay considerations in the context of pay-structure design.

You may propose an alternative project of your own design that shows attainment of the corresponding course outcome. The mentor must approve the alternative project.Students will support their understanding of pay-structure design by creating three complete job descriptions that include pay structures: one for incentive pay, one for traditional pay, and one for person-focused pay. Nursing informatics scholarly paper

Assignment 3: Scholarly Paper – Telecommunication Technology and the Delivery of Health Services (30 points)

In healthcare today, many patients/clients are increasing using telehealth applications for monitoring their health status. At the same time, in clinics and hospitals, primary care providers (PCPs) including advanced practice nurses are being challenged by patient/client questions concerning healthcare-related information and practices reported on the Internet. This assignment relates to telehealth care, the impacts of telehealth on the nursing role, and the use of standards to evaluate and recommend credible websites to patients.

Assignment Criteria/Directions:

In this paper, students will examine telehealth, discuss one specific emerging telehealth tool, and identify implications of how telehealth impacts emerging telehealth nursing roles. Students will also use standard criteria to identify credible websites for a selected telehealth population and design a teaching plan to empower this population to evaluate health information on the Web.

Include the following in the scholarly paper as the work is composed and organized:

  1. Telehealth Care and Telenursing
  • Telehealth Applications for a Population
  • Evaluating Health-Related Websites for Populations
    • For the preferred patient population, identify two credible health-related web sites that would be useful to ensuring this population’s effective health status
    • Explain why (what specific aspects of the website) you would recommend these websites to this population.
      • What website evaluation criteria did you use?
      • Assess and report the reading level of information presented in each website
    • Present a teaching plan to educate these patients about how to select a reputable and credible health website to manage their health
  • This is a scholarly paper of 6 to 8 pages (excluding title page and reference page(s).
  • Students are expected to apply APA formatting to the entire document, including the title page/reference page(s), the level headings, and in-text citations/quotes.
  • Analyze the role of the telenurse in using and educating the patient about this specific telehealth tool

Management style chart

Reflecting upon your Module 02 Discussion post, utilize your response to create a chart or diagram representing the change model that you are implementing -make sure to create a comparative demonstrating showing the old model against your new change plan.

Example: If you have chosen to use Fiedler’s Contingency Model as the change model to utilize with your project, your chart will reflect how your will create organization change based upon the model’s situational leadership style and situational favorableness.

Once you have created your change model chart, write a short description of its elements.

Note: The chart will be included in your final project proposal.

I will attach Example of Charts

Below is my discussion post for reference :

The question was:

Gaining an understanding of the various models of leadership theory is critical in order to understand what skills and abilities are needed to influence the desired change in an organization.

For this discussion, reflect upon your chapter and module readings and articulate your personal view as to which model would be most effective in achieving results in your project case study. Since the selection of a model must apply to a given situation, please provide an example of how your selected model will be implemented in your change initiative.

My answer was

Influencing desired changes in an organization requires coming up with concepts. As a leader, the first step should be to try and understand leadership models. After examining the possible approaches to a problem at hand, a leader will be able to analyze how his or her idea will affect the people and if at all it will work out. This is because there are always many factors in a social, economic and political setting. It does not matter the type of policies implemented should be considerate. The FCM approach would be more suitable. It’s more malleable, and adaptable in the type of work environment for Delta.

Journal Article on Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders

Sorry I had a tutor assigned and something happened and I cannot find the question anymore so the time limit will be shorter because it is due today.

Imagine you have been asked to write an article for an academic journal on the complexities of schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
