Inbound is described as shipments that are coming into the company. These operations include transport, storage, and delivery of commodities to the business. On the other hand, outbound logistics are shipments that are distributed to different clients from the company. Therefore, it comprises of items that are going out of the premises. Both usually combine in the areas such as supply chain management to help stewards in maximizing the reliability and efficiency while reducing expenses in transport, distribution, and storage costs.

The elements of a crime are the requirements a prosecutor must prove to convict a defendant of a crime. The elements of a crime are who, state of mind (mens rea), conduct ( actus res), causation, defenses (eg. self defense), grading (levels of crime eg. first degree murder, secondary degree murder, manslaughter, etc.) , surrounding circumstances (inferences of guilt or nonguilt). You are required to use the Illinois Criminal Statutes for Second Degree Murder and Involuntary Manslaughter. Reading the statute, take the wording in the statute and apply it to each element of the crime if applicable.

The process for developing nursing standards of practice begins with the state board of nursing of the state that the nurse lives in. It’s a two step process:

  • The state legislature passes a law, known as a “nurse practice act” (ANA,n.d.).
  • Regulatory bodies then create and implement rules and regulations, intended to protect the public (ANA,n.d.).

Different entities that might be involved in developing a standard of practice act are highly educated and advanced trained medical professionals who advocate for organizations such as the American Nurses Association. They, in turn, are responsible for lobbying for nurses at the government level such as congress. The day-to-day work of agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers of Disease Control (CDC), The Federal Drug Administration (FDA), and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) have a huge impact on all who work in the health care system (ANA,n.d.). It is vital that the voice of nursing is heard during their decision-making processes.

Positive feelings in the workplace are usually fueled by intrinsic motivators: healthy relationships, meaningful purpose, competence, choice, and progress. As a nurse manager, it is helpful to recognize what motivates you to perform well in your own job. You should also take time to understand the motivations of employees. By speaking to staff about their interests and professional goals, nurse managers can build relationships and thus provide appropriate motivators.

For this Assignment, you examine your personal work experiences to determine which of the five intrinsic motivators are more influential in shaping your positive feelings about the workplace.
