Option #1: Clinical Improvement Opportunities, health and medicine homework help

Option #1: Clinical Improvement Opportunities

Scenario:

You are the director of quality in a 100-bed hospital. The organization has identified three clinical improvement opportunities: reduce surgical site infections, reduce patient falls, and improve compliance with congestive heart failure clinical guidelines.

For this assignment, select one of these clinical improvement opportunities. Your task, as sponsor and team facilitator, is to develop a robust team charter (see exhibit 7.2 in our textbook).

  • First, research the opportunity you selected to understand how progressive organizations have addressed the challenge.
  • Next, determine and justify the size of the team and identify the specific positions (to include physicians) that you would include as members. Describe the role of each member.
  • Then, craft a robust problem statement and team charter.
  • Finally, create a draft agenda and Gantt chart or timeline (select just one) for the first meeting of the team.

The paper should be well-written and meet the following requirements:

  • Four pages in length (excluding title page, reference list and exhibits)
  • The team charter, draft agenda, and Gantt chart / timeline should be included as exhibits in the paper, but thoroughly discussed and justified in the body of the paper.
  • Include at least three references from the peer-reviewed articles. The CSU-Global Library is a good place to find peer-reviewed articles.

set up an issue of Community Concern>>>> speech

The topic is ” Crime in Milwaukee”

First Speech! Set up an issue of Community Concern

“To achieve the informative speaking goal of increasing understanding and awareness, informative speakers rely on definition, description, explanation, and demonstration. “ (p. 344)

The basic goal of this first speech is for you to set up an issue and inform your audience (classmates) about the history, details and perspectives of this topic. You will do extensive research on your topic and pass both information and interest to your fellow classmates. This is an informative speech. You will not be giving your opinion, taking a stance, or persuading your audience to think a certain way or to take any action. Your audience should come away from the speech with a sufficient understanding of what the issue is and why it is worth their attention. Think of it like they are visiting the “land” of our topic and need an intro for what to know! Your speech must be informed, polished, and audience-aware. You will probably want to choose an issue that you care about, but keep in mind that just because you care deeply about something doesn’t mean others will care about that topic. It is your job to inform your audience in a way that makes it clear why they should give the issue additional consideration.

The opportunity in this speech is to practice making informed, critical decisions about engaging audiences and ideas. That starts with the issue you select. Remember, your issue will connect through all three speeches, building as you go. So take careful time and consideration when thinking about your topic and how it will apply to your future speeches.

Your speech should specifically inform the audience on the following points:

What is the issue?

Why is this issue a concern right now?

Why should this audience care about this issue?

Are there any important historical pieces to understand?

What are the different perspectives involved?

Your speech should:

~Be about 4 minutes! (aim between 3-5)

~Cite at least 3 different and appropriate sources in your speech. All claims of fact and testimony must be cited appropriately.

~Demonstrate clear and purposeful organization.

~The speaker’s manner and body language should be appropriate for the occasion.

~You will turn in your outline online on the day you speak (which includes your work cited!)

Make sure you read the corresponding rubric!

I uploaded the rubric that u should follow it.

In the end you should give me two documents ” the outline, and the speech that I will speaking from”

the reaction of an angry mob(“ordinary” colonists) that out pressure on
an elite class reluctant to wage war? Was it rooted in a deeper cause and
linked to notions of English liberties, enlightenment ideas, and the Great
Awakening? Was it an organized revolt or simply misguided, unorganized protest
movement that went too far by a handful of colonists overreacting to a few

Systems Paper

The focus of the Systems Paper will be on the system-wide effects that various Supreme Court decisions have had, and continue to have, on the field of criminal justice. You will select a Supreme Court case from the list provided below, outline details of the case and its deposition, and trace the ruling’s repercussions as the various components of the criminal justice system are affected. A single decision has the capacity to greatly alter criminal justice operating procedures. Some decisions have important effects, but their ability to create system-wide changes in policy is moderate. Other decisions have seemingly mundane outcomes, yet end up causing vast changes in policy for various components of the criminal justice system.

First, select one Supreme Court case from the list below:

  • Tennessee v. Garner (1985)
  • Escobedo v. Illinois (1964)
  • Miranda v. Arizona (1966)
  • Cooper v. Pate (1964)
  • Cruz v. Beto (1972)
  • Furman v. Georgia (1972)
  • Williams v. Florida (1970)
  • Gideon v. Wainwright (1963)
  • Powell v. Alabama (1932)
  • Harris v. United States (1968)
  • Terry v. Ohio (1968)
  • Florida v. Harris (2013)
  • Mapp v. Ohio (1961)
  • Weeks v. United States (1914)
  • Illinois v. Perkins (1990)

Using the selected case, in your paper;

  • Summarize the background and details of the case and the justices’ ruling.
  • Identify the specific component of the criminal justice system that was most affected by the Supreme Court’s ruling.
  • Provide an in-depth analysis of any operational policy, hiring, or training policy that was, or would be, required to change due to the legal decision.
  • Describe what systemic effect the Supreme Court’s decision had, or has, for the remaining components of the justice system.
  • Detail how a single Court ruling can have systemic effects.
  • Identify and trace system-wide transformation caused by a particular Court ruling.

Cite quotations taken directly from the original court case transcripts. Only select one case from the list upon which to build your paper. Citations and basic information pertaining to each case can be found in the Peak (2016) text. For more in depth discussions and original Court documentation, a FindLaw (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site., Oyez (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site., Google (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site., or Bing (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. search will elicit a plethora of reputable sources. Data Sharing and Analytics Drive Success With IoT

I have an assignment which writes 2 pages about:

By Stephanie Jernigan, Sam Ransbotham, and David Kiron

ABOUT THE RESEARCH: To understand the challenges and opportunities associated with the Internet of Things, MIT Sloan Management Review conducted a survey of business executives, managers, and IT professionals from organizations located around the world. The survey, conducted in the spring of 2016, captured insights from 1,480 respondents from a wide variety of industries, and from organizations of all sizes. The sample was drawn from several sources, including MIT Sloan Management Review subscribers. In addition to these survey results, we interviewed subject matter experts from a number of industries and disciplines to understand the practical issues facing organizations today in their use of analytics. Our interviewees’ insights contributed to a richer understanding of the data. We also drew upon several case studies to illustrate how organizations are using the Internet of Things.

Questions: Please answer the following three questions in 2-3 pages

  1. Based on the research and results what are the competitive advantages from IoT?
  2. What are the areas of concern for achieving success with IoT?
  3. The authors state the following:

“While many factors contribute to successful IoT projects and larger-scale IoT initiatives, managers should consider developing the following three key factors at an early stage of their projects: a strong analytics capability; sharing data; and preparing customers for an ongoing business relationship with their IoT devices. Creating business value from the IoT depends on much more than managing IoT devices, or even managing the data that flows from these devices.”

As a CIO of how would you respond to the above statement and prioritize for success of IoT.

Apply your knowledge of theatre as a standard of success to the UTC production ofCHICAGO.

Before you see the show, think about the parts of theatre that interest you. They may be the plot or theme, the acting, design elements, or the director’s staging and concept. When you see the show, pay attention to these things and respond to them. Some things to think about are, how does the plotting and theme play out, which actors are outstanding in their performance, how do the parts of the production work together to create the performance, or how does the staging and overall direction of the play carry out the director’s concept. CHICAGO is a musical, so pay attention to how music and dance play into the performance. Make sure to focus your response on the production you are watching Pay attention to your responses and the response of the audience around you and use specific examples of when you feel engaged in the play, which character, scene, or design element stands out in your mind, or other notable moments from the production. Use descriptive language for your observation and develop a conclusion, which is a recommendation for the play. The paper should tell your reader to see the play or not.

why african american history should be taught

A new movement has started since the early 2000s, where some political groups are trying to remove American history from our children’s school curriculum and textbooks, specifically slave history. However, these groups also do not want to cover segregation or civil rights. By removing the history that we have just covered in these last eight weeks, the African American communities are denied their connections to American History. Recently, African Americans have created movements such as “Black Lives Matter” to counteract these other groups. Many tie slave history to the development of segregation and racism that has spread throughout our country. A Historical Trauma has affected generations of African Americans because of what their ancestors had to endure just to survive in this country. This distrust has developed towards different groups, agencies and organizations. For those who are not affected, trying to understand what it means to be an African American in the United States showcases the need for this history to be taught in all schools and to every American.

Your final forum is to prepare an essay (letter to the editor or written speech) that would explain to all of America why African American History from the Atlantic Slave Trade To Reconstruction should be taught.

Explain why every American should know African American history. You will be expected to use specific facts, events and people that you have learned from this course therefore refrain from adding content that pertains to historical content after Reconstruction.

These facts, events, and people must come from your required work this term and from research in the library or from the course bibliography..

In your speech, demonstrate the breadth of knowledge you have gained from this work. Do not forget to use in text citations because you will be using multiple sources.

This post must be at least 500 words
