The U.S Constitution should provide the same protection for all citizens. Every state should be governed accordingly but when it comes to basic human rights it should be one standard across the board. Like the Bill of Rights has the 10 amendments to ensure all of human rights are not defined by the national government the constitution should ensure those same rights. Allowing the states to form their own opinions and laws of the people are opening up doors to discrimination, racism and a lot more, setting us back many years. Having a set of laws that are equal in every way for every person in any state, will put proof behind our slogan”The Land of the Free”

I believe that pork-barrel legislation in a necessary evil in the world of politics. If the federal government makes funds available to each state and district, political representatives should secure those funds for their districts. It’s no secret that politicians sometimes use their influence for their own personal gain, so why not use it to improve the lives of their constituents and/or their hometowns. I think that as long there is a genuine need for the funds and those funds are used appropriately then, in today’s political climate, representatives must do whatever necessary to meet the needs of those they represent. My opinion wouldn’t change if the area in question were my own hometown or one that I’ve never heard of 5,000 miles away.

I also believe that they should be advocating and coming up with various ideas so the President has a perspective of more than just one person for all of America. Now you also have to think that it is extremely hard for a President to keep up with everything that goes on with the government so personally I think that if the President has faith in the cabinet appointees that they should have more freedom to help him control the government. After all the president did make and suggest his own cabinet.

We live in a very diverse world, colleges and university is where our future leaders and professionals go to attain a higher education. I couldn’t image a university where only one race was allowed to attend. It would have a tremendous impact on our country socially, financially and academically on our higher learning Institutions. University board members and Chancellors have a moral and ethical responsibility to maintain a racial diversity policy for higher learning Institutions. The publication of poll results in the days before an election is often criticized because some say that voters are influenced to vote for the “leader” in the poll—the so-called ‘bandwagon effect’. Do you think that there is any merit to this criticism? “Revolving door” laws prohibit public officials from lobbying activities for one year after they leave office. What do you view as some potential political pros or cons of public officials making this transition? People usually want to support a winner. I’m from San Antonio so I support the Spurs; the second they make the playoffs I am a diehard fan. You wouldn’t know I didn’t follow them the whole season. The same goes for politics. Some people will not do any research on the candidate or the issues, they will vote for the “leader” merely because they have the majority vote. They assume he must be the better choice since everyone else is voting for him.

Why or why not? I do not believe that voting should be restricted to those with a college education, per se, but voters should be well informed and aware of the important issues surrounding the election. Dautrich (2016) states that “Voting for the sake of voting may not produce good choices” (381). Some citizens invest time in becoming informed voters, and some vote just to wear the little sticker that says “I Voted”. Others have no real interest in voting, and just want to get it out of the way. Although having a college education can’t hurt, it is not absolutely necessary for an individual to cast an informed, meaningful vote. Having the right to vote does not require a college education, so voting should not be restricted. I believe that it would be unfair to the individuals who have been casting meaningful votes for years. It would be great if more voters put the time and energy into learning about the issues prior to voting or deciding not to vote, but they have the right to make these choices. So, if a person is working 40 hours a week and barely making ends meet, receiving a pay raise would not be very effective, because the person will be paying higher taxes. Regressive taxes are also unfair, because they charge each individual the same amount, regardless of income. So those earning a significantly low income are paying high taxes, while wealthier people are not effected as much. Flat taxes seem fair because, as Dautrich and Yalof (2016) state, the tax burden would be “spread more evenly…[and] Americans would not be penalized for working harder to earn more” (438). With flat taxes, money is coming from all entities at the same proportion; thus, the rich pay more taxes than the poor, but the percentage of taxes they both are charged is equal. Information Requirements Determination (IRD) Project Component

Based on your consulting company’s initial work in discovering the business needs of Mid-Century Modern Décor Unlimited (MCMDU)(see attachment below), you now have the following additional information about your client company’s processes that will need to be supported by the planned inventory information system:

1. Addition of new item to inventory system: the marketing/sales staff, in cooperation with the manufacturing staff, transmits the basic information on new products to be added to inventory management on a paper form brought to the inventory management office. This form must contain approval signatures of the Vice President for Operations and the Vice President for Sales. Upon receipt of a correct form (as determined by the Inventory Management staff), the inventory information for the new item is added to the appropriate Microsoft Excel 2010 workbook(s).
2. Recurring inventory report: the inventory is reported on a monthly basis in printed form and distributed through interoffice mail to the owner, vice presidents, and managers of the manufacturing and marketing/sales departments.
3. Ad-hoc inventory reports: an ad-hoc report on one or more inventory items may be requested by the owner, vice presidents, and managers of the manufacturing and marketing/sales departments. These requests must be created on a “Special Report Request” paper form brought to the inventory management office. The inventory management staff attempts to produce these reports within two business days of the time of the request.
4. The inventory management staff will also create an ad-hoc report in printed form upon phone request from either the owner or the company vice presidents. There is not a special form for this request: the inventory management will jot the specifications for the needed report down on paper when called by these individuals with a request. The inventory management staff attempts to produce these reports within one business day of the time of the request.
5. The inventory management staff maintains the templates for inventory information from the e-commerce retailer customers within a file folder on a hard drive on the PC computer system in the Inventory Management office. Recall from the Background Information section that e-commerce retailers will generally require that their company-specific templates be used when transmitting inventory-related information such as complete product descriptions. Once the templates are populated with the requested information, the Inventory Management staff can transmit that information to the e-commerce retailers by logging in through the retailer’s extranet portal for MDU.

The Tasks:

Obviously, you will be facing a challenge in effectively determining systems requirements for this project. Based on the information provided in Chapter 6 of the course textbook and web-based research, your team’s task here is to select an overall strategy for determining system requirements. In addition, you have decided to develop an interview process with various employees of the company to assist in determining the information requirements needed to support the development of a system that meets the scope of the planned system. Create this deliverable in a Microsoft Word document.

Your deliverable for this component of the team project is to include the following components:

1. A project scope statement: see the associated definition/description on page 199 of the course textbook and the example portrayed in Figure 5-10 on page 134 of the course textbook.
2. An analysis of systems requirements determination strategies (review Chapter 6) in order to select the optimal strategy for this specific information systems project for MDU. This component must contain an identification and discussion of the potential strategies followed by your well justified recommendation for proposing the optimal strategy for information requirements determination (IRD) for the planned system. Be aware that a single method of IRD is almost never adequate to gather the needed information for a systems development project.
3. An interview plan as detailed in interview outlines followed by specific questions (you should use both close-ended and open-ended questions) that you plan to ask in initial interviews with (1) Alexis Harrison, the company owner and (2) company employees (specify which ones). Note that you may also choose to employ additional interviewing methods (see Chapter 6) for obtaining this type of information.

If we look at Exodus the story told about Moses freeing the Israelites , Moses frees them under the guidance of a one true god this is monotheistic. This was the beginning of the Israelite nation however the Canaanites worshipped many gods and their fallen city Jerrico is believed to have been found and this supports the story of Joshua in the bible who also believed in the same one true god as Moses. But what archeological evidence shows is that there is no evidence of the great exodus and that the ruins of the Canaanite cities were laid waste in increments of time contradictory to Joshua. I believe Judaism began as a monotheism. Buddhist cosmology is the description of the shape and evolution of the universe according to Buddhist scriptures. I find it interesting that according to Buddha we are reincarnated but I also believe it is fascinating that four planes or states exist aeons. I personally am not Buddhist and do not believe in reincarnation.
