For this Assignment, you will select one of the following case studies below. Then, using the case information and best evidence, complete the chart below. Make sure to address all columns in the chart.

Select a case study of interest to you from the listed scenarios below.

Case #1: Jane

Jane is a 42-year-old G4P2103. Jane is divorced and works long, hard hours as a real estate agent. Jane was having irregular and heavy menses for 6 months, and then they abruptly stopped 3 months ago. Jane has been having nausea and vomiting for 6 weeks but attributed it to having the flu recently. She also admits to gaining about 10 pounds in the last few months and experiencing breast tenderness. Jane comes to the clinic today to discuss menopause symptoms and treatment. During the visit, a urine pregnancy test came back positive. During the exam, you palpate a 16-week-size uterus and get fetal heart tones of 165. Jane is in disbelief.

Case #2: Natalie

Natalie is a 27-year-old G4P0120. Natalie is married; she and her husband both work two part-time jobs to cover the bills. Natalie presents to your office at about 20 weeks gestation for her initial OB visit. Natalie states she has not been evaluated prior to today for the pregnancy because of lack of funds and ability to get off of work. Natalie also complains of multiple yeast infections during this pregnancy. During your interview with Natalie, you find she has no known medical diagnoses, she is not taking medications, she is a smoker, and she has a negative surgical history. Natalie’s OB history includes two spontaneous losses at 8 and 12 weeks gestation and a loss of a 32 weeks infant following premature rupture of membranes. The 32 week infant was 7 pounds; lived 24 hours; and experienced hypoglycemia, respiratory distress, and sepsis infections. Natalie tells you she waited to seek prenatal care until this point because she did not have enough money to pay for the visit. She and her husband are still paying off medical expenses from the death of their 32 week infant. She tells you that she probably would have waited longer, but she keeps getting these terrible yeast infections. On exam you note a fundal height of 26 weeks and urine dip reveals 1+ leukocytes, 1+ protein, trace blood and 3+ glucose.

Case #3: Katie

Katie is a 17-year-old G1P0. She presents to your office with four missed periods in a row. Katie is a high school student; she is in the 10th grade. She lives with her mother and four siblings. You ask Katie about the father of the baby and she tells you he states “that baby is not mine.” They are not speaking to each other right now. Katie tells you she has been “vomiting a lot and her stomach hurts when she pees.” A urine pregnancy test comes back positive. Katie is so confused because she has been using douching after intercourse as her method of birth control. You ask Katie about the father of the baby, and she tells you he states “that baby is not mine.” They are not speaking to each other right now.

Katie’s past medical history is positive for chlamydia twice in the last year. She was treated at the Health Department but never went back for a follow up. Katie has had no surgeries and is on no medication. When asked, Katie states her last known weight was about 120. Katie’s V/S are BP 110/70, temp 102.5, weight 107. You note enlarged cervical lymph nodes, FHTs are 160, fundal height is 18. Katie’s urine reveals 2+ ketones, 2+ nitrates, and 3+ leukocytes.

Case #4: Sara

Sara is a 32-year-old G1P1001. She presents to your office for a 6-week postpartum check following a normal vaginal delivery of a healthy baby girl. Sara had an 18-hour labor with Pitocin augmentation and delivered a 7 pound 2 oz. girl with a second degree laceration repaired with sutures. Sara spent 2 days in the hospital and was discharged home with her infant and husband. Over the last few weeks, Sara has called the office multiple times with questions about breastfeeding and her sutures healing. Upon walking into the exam room to see Sara, you see her baby in the stroller crying and Sara sitting on the exam table crying into her hands.

Discussion Question History Art

Please Follow all the Instructions, VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

explore the characteristics of Early Renaissance art in both Northern and Southern Europe. Address each part of the assignment below:

Part 1
Two of the great innovations of the Renaissance in painting were the artist’s ability to depict a more contemporary world, and to create the illusion of a three-dimensional world in a painting. By studying and comparing paintings created in Italy from the fourteenth and the fifteenth centuries, you can see how this innovation developed:

  • Giotto. Lamentation Fresco in the Scrovegni (Arena) Chapel, 1305–06
  • Masaccio, The Tribute Money, c. 1427
  • Perugino, Christ Giving the Keys to St. Peter, 1481

In a minimum of 2 well-developed paragraphs, identify and describe at least 3 specific details or elements that progressively illustrate the artist’s concern for depicting a more natural world and for creating the illusion of three-dimensional space on the two-dimensional surface of the painting.

Part 2
art historians analyze a work of art using a specific vocabulary to describe its physical and visual properties, and by interpreting its subject matter, symbolism, and socio-historical context. Select one of the following paintings:

  • Jan Van Eyck, Double Portrait of Giovanni Arnolfini and His Wife, 1434
  • Master of Flémalle, Mérode Altarpiece, 1425-28
  • Hugo van der Goes, Portinari Altarpiece, 1474-76

For your selected painting:

  1. In a paragraph of 4-6 sentences, describe the composition of the painting, including its use of color and light, and the representation of space. Explain why some artistic elements in the painting look realistic to you and some do not look realistic. Discuss whether the figures fit into the space, whether their movements seem believable, whether their clothes fit their bodies properly, and whether there are shadows that make sense.
  2. Read about your selected painting in the course textbook and/or through reliable online resources. In a paragraph of 4-6 sentences, describe the overall subject matter of the painting; the meaning of some of the objects in the painting; and any social, historical, political, and/or religious factors that are important to understanding the painting. Be sure to provide citations for any outside sources you reference in this part of your response.

Respond to both parts of the assignment thoroughly, making sure to use information from the readings and the lectures. All responses should be in complete sentence form, using proper spelling and grammar.

As soon as possible, review and comment on the work of two of your peers. In your comments, consider areas you would suggest for expansion or clarification.

What is an audit confirmation, Accounting homework help

I have two questions about auditing need to be answered

1-  A CPA accumulates various types of evidence on which to base the opinion on financial statements. Among this evidence are confirmations from third parties.

Required:

a. What is an audit confirmation?

b. What characteristics of the confirmation process and the recipient are important if a CPA is to consider the confirmation evidence appropriate?

2- Herbert McCoy is the president of McCoy Forging Corporation. For the past several years, Donovan & Company, CPAs, has performed the company’s compilation and some other accounting and tax work. McCoy decided to have Donovan & Company conduct an audit. He had recently received a disturbing anonymous letter that stated, “Beware; you have a viper in your nest. The money is literally disappearing before your very eyes! Signed: A friend.” He told no one about the letter. McCoy Forging engaged Donovan & Company, CPAs, to render an opinion on the financial statements for the year ended June 30. McCoy told Donovan he wanted to verify that the financial statements were “accurate and proper.” He did not mention the anonymous letter. The usual engagement letter providing for an audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) was drafted by Donovan & Company and signed by both parties.
he audit was performed in accordance with GAAS. The audit did not reveal a clever defalcation plan. Harper, the assistant treasurer, was siphoning off substantial amounts of McCoy Forging’s funds. The defalcations occurred both before and after the audit. Harper’s embezzlement was discovered by McCoy’s new internal auditor in October after Donovan had delivered the auditors’ opinion. Although the scheme was fairly sophisticated, it could have been detected if Donovan & Company had performed additional procedures. McCoy Forging demands reimbursement from Donovan for the entire amount of the embezzlement, some $40,000 of which occurred before the audit and $65,000 after. Donovan has denied any liability and refuses to pay.

Required:  Discuss Donovan’s responsibility in this situation. Do you think McCoy Forging could prevail in whole or in part in a lawsuit against Donovan under common law? Explain your conclusions.

Decoding the DNA of the Toyota Production System, management homework help

Read the article “Decoding the DNA of the Toyota Production System” and answer the question below.

Based on the article, explain how these three practices are operationalized (i.e. put into practice) at Toyota?

==================================================================================

Your response has to be comprehensive. One line responses for each will not suffice.

You should not be copying and pasting sentences from the article. Understand the concepts from the article and provide responses in your own words.

Provide your response in a Word document and upload it on Canvas. Include your name in the document and also in the file name.

RETREIVAL ASSESSMENT

This assessment requires you to design and set out a
research proposal in response to the scenario set out below. You are to imagine
that you are responding to an invitation to submit a research proposal
sponsored by a particular organization.

A large University wishes to encourage the greater use
of teamwork amongst its staff and external stakeholders in its future
development. What are the benefits of this approach to management, what are the
barriers and main issues involved, and how might it be fostered?

Your research
proposal should be structured as follows:

Background
and Aims of the Study:
This should include your interpretation of the brief – setting out the
reasons for the research and a clear statement of the aims and objectives of
the research (or central research question and sub-questions) It should also
provide a suitable context and background for the issues and topic under
investigation.

Review of the Literature: This should include a relevant and critical overview of the existing
literature on the topic of study. What is already known, what are the key
issues and areas of debate?
You
will need to establish the currentstate
of knowledge on the topic under investigation (the theories, concepts, ideas,
issues, debates and so on) A literature review is not simply a description of
relevant books/journals that you have read or that you think will be helpful to
your research. You should paraphrase and critique (i.e. restate, in your own
words, the main points made by the writer(s) in question, in addition to evaluating
their contribution.

Research Design: This sets out your proposed research methodology and design including
sampling strategies,
data collection methods and techniques, and
methods of analysis. You need to provide
a concise explanation of the approach and method(s) that you proposing in order
to operationalize your research objectives. You should mention the options open
to you (e.g. a quantitative, qualitative approach, multi-method), state and
justify the reasons for the option you have chosen.  Thought should be given to the sample (who,
how many, where and so on) and for example, in the case of a questionnaire
survey, reflect on issues such as the likely response rate, the type and
wording of questions, and the statistical tests to be used in analysis of the
data.  For qualitative methods such as
focus groups, and interviews, thought should be given to the potential
participants, the methods of recording and transcription, and the analytical
techniques to be used. For documents, comment on the availability of archive
material, and the method(s) of textual analysis to be employed. You will also
need to comment on matters of ethics, validity, reliability and
generalisability.

Appendices:
Rather than disrupt the flow of the research
proposal writing, relevant documentation can be placed in an appendix.

List
of References:
a
full and detailed list of references should be included particularly relating
to your literature review and research methodology.
