To complete this task, you will need to create an online blog using WordPress, a common, freely-accessible blogging platform. Support will be available through Blackboard to assist with this process. As you work through the Design Thinking process in this subject, you will need to create a series of blog posts, where you describe the key activities undertaken in the process, and reflect on the mindset (in terms of disposition) and the skills and knowledge you have applied. Your blog posts may also include specific artefacts generated through the Design Thinking process, as evidence/elaboration to support your discussion. You will submit TWO (2) folios of your posts: Folio A (Empathy and Synthesis), and Folio B (Ideation and Prototyping). DTE401 Blog Folio B Page 3 of 8 Each post should also provide explicit reflection on the process undertaken, moving you beyond being a participant in the process to considering the potential applications and limitations of your experience for your professional context. For Folio B, you will need to create at least ONE (1) post relating to Ideation, and ONE (1) post relating to Prototyping, although you may wish to write a larger number of smaller posts relating to each stage. In either case, your submission should be approximately 1,500 words in total. Prior to the submission date, your blog posts should be published as “password protected” posts. After the submission date, you may wish to make your blog posts public, but this is not a requirement of the task. There is no specific requirement for you to follow a particular structure in the format of your blog posts. However, please write in the first person throughout, and ensure that you are reading widely and incorporating relevant scholarly and professional literature to support and extend your discussion. For this submission, you will need to collate your blog posts that relate to the Ideation and Prototyping stages of the Design Thinking process. You may wish to either: ? Copy and paste your blog posts into a Microsoft Word document that you will submit via the Assessment section of Blackboard, or: ? Copy the URL for your blog posts into a Microsoft Word document that you will submit via the Assessment section of Blackboard (ensuring that you also provide the password to access your posts). Regardless of which option you choose, you should also include in your submission a full reference list of all sources cited in the posts. You also need to ensure that the blog template that you choose clearly shows the date and time of publication of all posts – any blog posts published after the due date for this assessment will be treated as late submissions (except where extensions have been granted).
