Please provide a 250 word response to the below question using at least 1 cited article or journal and please reference in APA 6th edition format. Reference needs to be within response and at the end.

Edgar Schein’s three levels model of organizational culture: artifacts, espoused values, and basic assumptions. In Schein’s book “Organization Culture and Leadership” (1992) describes the culture group as a pattern of basic assumptions that the group learn to resolve its problems of external adaptation and leaders as the correct the way they think, perceive and feel about the issues. The approach Schein’s recommends for inquiring about culture is an iterative, clinical approach, which is similar to a therapeutic relationship between a psychologist and a patient.

They may be used to assess organization leadership effectiveness by measuring the artifacts. The artifact is the surfaces of the leadership, such as presentation of attire, which can be easily distinguish but difficult to understand. Secondly, espoused values assess the leaders conscious strategies, goals and philosophies. Lastly, basic underlying assumptions assess the essence of understanding why things happen the way they do. These basic assumptions from around deeper dimensions of human existence such as the nature humans, human relationships and activity, reality and truth.

Discussion question- no plagiarism

“Disease Control” Please respond to the following:

  • From the first e-Activity, compare your state public health agency
to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service (DHHS) in relation to
each agency’s approach to disease management. Examine the role that
each public health agency would play in the event of a disease outbreak.
Provide two (2) examples to support your response.
  • From the second e-Activity, analyze two to three (2-3) strategies
that your state public health agency would employ in response to a
pandemic event. From modifications made to policies in the last five
years, infer the related lessons that have been learned. Support your
rationale with specific examples of these strategic modifications.

Historical Context

Your second project in this course is to complete a historical context and introduction project. The work you did on the Topic Exploration Worksheet in Modules

One and Two will directly support your work on this project as well as your third longer term project—the multimedia presentation—due in Module Eight.

One of the prime benefits of studying history is that it allows us to learn about who we are and where we came from. The people and events of the past can

often shed light on the conditions and social norms of the present. Having historical awareness can inform various aspects of your life as well as future

aspirations. Learning from past failures and successes can shape ideals and values for years to come.

This is your second longer-term project designed to help you understand the fundamental processes and value of studying history. In the first project, you

completed the Topic Exploration Worksheet on one of the topics or themes from the library guide. You investigated the types of research you might need to do

to learn more about the topic and developed research questions. In Project 2, you will use your completed Topic Exploration Worksheet to explore the

historical context and develop an introduction. You will choose one of your research questions and do some secondary source research, speculate on primary

source needs, and use the information to write the introduction and thesis statement for a possible research paper. (You will not write the entire paper—

only the introduction.) In the third project, you will create a multimedia presentation that explores both major developments in historical inquiry and the value

of examining history.

This research plan and introduction assignment will assess the following course outcome, which you focused on throughout Modules Three and Four:

 Determine fundamental approaches to studying history in addressing questions about how events are shaped by their larger historical context

Prompt

In this project, you will write the introductory paragraph of a history paper based on one of the questions you identified in your topic exploration worksheet. To

do this, however, you must first find out a bit more information about your topic and draft a research plan. This will allow you to transform your question about

your topic into a thesis statement, as well as give you the background information you will need to craft an interesting introductory paragraph. You will not write

the entire paper, just the introduction to the paper that concludes with a thesis statement. The following critical elements will be assessed in a Word document

that combines both your research plan (Critical Elements I and II) and your introduction (Critical Element III).

Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

I. Write your introduction.

A. Write your introduction. Be sure to incorporate your background information and to conclude with your thesis statement.

B. Based on your primary and secondary source research, turn your research question into a thesis statement that addresses your topic and how it

has been influenced by its historical context.

II. Use primary and secondary sources that address the historical context of your topics to respond to the following critical elements. Be sure to cite your

information using the most recent version of APA guidelines. Based on the sources you have selected, address the following questions:

A. Summarize the topic using primary and secondary sources. In other words, what was going on in the world/area/society around the event?

B. Discuss how the historical context impacted the topic. For instance, what was happening in the world/area/society around the event that

impacted how it occurred?

Project 2 Rubric

Guidelines for Submission: Your historical context and introduction should be 2 to 3 pages in length. Use double spacing, one-inch margins, and 12-point Times

New Roman font. Use the most current version of APA style. You will use the Historical Context and Introduction Template to complete this assignment. HIS 100 Historical Context and Introduction Template.docx (ATTACHED)

Faith Integration Paper

-1,700-2,100 words with 3 academic sources in APA format.

-Body of Paper

Provide a thorough response
(normally 2-3 paragraphs) for each of the seven questions below. Answer the
questions from a Christian perspective (what you believe). In addition to the course
textbooks, include citations from at least three academic sources. Include
Scripture references where appropriate to support your views.

1. What is prime reality – the really real?

Do you believe in an ultimate power or person? If you believe in God – what is God like? What is God’s role in the universe? Be specific.

2. What is the nature of external reality, that is the world around us?

Was the world created or did it evolve by itself? Is the universe only physical in nature or is there a spiritual realm? What is real?

3. What is a human being?

What does it mean to be a human being? Are we merely physical beings? Is there any real difference between humanity and the animal world?

4. What happens to a person at death?

Is physical death the end of human existence? Is there a place such as heaven or hell? What happens to us after we die?

5. Why is it possible to know anything at all?

How do we know what is real and true? Is Science the only way to determine truth? What about special revelation as found in the Bible or presented by Jesus Christ – are they valid ways to learn what is real?

6. How do we know what is right and wrong?

What is the basis for morality? Is morality just rules developed by individuals to make an orderly society? Are there any universal standards of morality?

7. What is the meaning of human history?

Is there any plan or purpose in human history? Does God have a master plan for history or is history just a random series of events with no ultimate purpose? What important decisions or choices should a person make based on God’s plan?

Conclusion

“What personal, life-orienting core
commitments are consistent with this worldview”? For your conclusion, answer
this additional question for your perspective. In other words, based on what
you have stated is your ‘world-view’ – what practical difference does it make
in your life? Will you make any life changes? Do you have any new priorities?
How will you make a difference in this world?

Safety Plan

This week you will imagine that you are the director of student affairs for a very large university. The structure of the university places you in direct leadership of a large team of students, staff, and faculty. It also places you in a subordinate position to the vice president and president of student affairs. Choose one of the serious risks that face universities (drug abuse, violence, alcohol abuse) from our readings this week, and then develop a professional safety plan that will be implemented throughout the entire university and announced by the university president at the next state of the university address. This safety plan will draw the entire university’s attention, so prepare it with careful thought and professionalism. Perhaps you would be able to use this same plan in the real world one day!

Length: 6 pages, not including the title and reference pages

References: Include a minimum of five scholarly resources.

Your plan should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.

Week 1 Role of Critical Thinking in Psychology, psychology homework help

Role of Critical Thinking in Psychology

Let’s examine the role of critical thinking in psychology. It would appear that critical thinking is an active process. Some critical thinking activities are careful observation, remembering, imagining, inquiring, evaluating and judging. Psychologists use critical thinking to sharpen the focus and results of their experiments and to make better decisions. Critical thinking is all about the importance of evidence and making sure a claim is backed with adequate reasoning and research.

Every day, you are faced with multiple claims…it seems worse now than ever! Some claims are easily dismissed by heading to Snopes.com or some other site. Others are a little trickier. Thus, we need to know when to look for evidence and what kind of evidence is reliable.

Take some time to think about these questions:

  • What are some claims that you have heard that need more evidence?
  • Have you ever been guilty of using less than reliable evidence?
  • What kinds of unreliable evidence work best on you? Why do you think this is?
  • Do you think that you are looking at claims differently now that you are taking this course?
  • How does learning about claims and evidence make you a better critical thinker?
