Your project: Present (roughly 10 minutes) on what and why the decisions you will make to improve the club. Role play as the part of the GM (if more than 1 person play the roles of department managers, ie golf, f & b, etc). Leah and I will play the part of the board of directors. You have been hired as GM (and department leaders) to get the facility to max membership in the next 10 years. Please present your plan and the why it will get the club to its desired goal. Feel free to break up (short term, long term goals) if it helps.
Project will be graded on the argument made to defend your project rather than the time to present. Present to Leah and I as if we are the board members needing convinced that your decisions will benefit the club. There are no right or wrong answers! However, the presentation will be graded on your ability to defend your argument and the reasons why this was the decisions you chose. Please put your presentation in Powerpoint or some form of presentation method. Please use any other visual aids that will help defend your argument.

:please use the Team Effectiveness Model to analyze the case. Please follow the instruction as follows:

Team effectiveness model. According to the Team Effectiveness Model, the key components of making up effective teams cover three general categories – context, composition, and team process._x000D_
The four contextual factors most significantly related to team performance are adequate resources, effective leadership, a climate of trust, and a performance evaluation and reward system that reflects team contributions._x000D_
The team composition category includes variables that relate to how teams should be staffed—the ability and personality of team members, allocation of roles and diversity, size of the team, and members’ preference for teamwork._x000D_
The final category related to team effectiveness is process variables such as member commitment to a common purpose, establishment of specific team goals, team efficacy, a managed level of conflict, and minimized social loafing.

(Swimming with sharks) You and a friend are spending two days at the beach and would like to go for a swim. Each of you believes that with probability π the water is infested with sharks. If sharks are present, anyone who goes swimming today will surely be attacked. You each have preferences represented by the expected value of a payoff function that assigns −c to being attacked by a shark, 0 to sitting on the beach, and 1 to a day’s worth of undisturbed swimming. If one of you is attacked by sharks on the first day then you both deduce that a swimmer will surely be attacked the next day, and hence do not go swimming the next day. If no one is attacked on the first day then you both retain the belief that the probability of the water’s being infested is π, and hence swim on the second day only if −πc + 1 − π ≥ 0. Model this situation as a strategic game in which you and your friend each decides whether to go swimming on your first day at the beach. If, for example, you go swimming on the first day, you (and your friend, if she goes swimming) are attacked with probability π, in which case you stay out of the water on the second day; you (and your friend, if she goes swimming) swim undisturbed with probability 1 − π, in which case you swim on the second day. Thus your expected payoff if you swim on the first day is π(−c + 0)+(1 − π)(1 + 1) = −πc + 2(1 − π), independent of your friend’s action. Find the mixed strategy Nash equilibria of the game (depending on c and π). Does the existence of a friend make it more or less likely that you decide to go swimming on the first day? (Penguins diving into water where seals may lurk are sometimes said to face the same dilemma, though Court (1996) argues that they do not.)
